Good evening NSD gang, not a NSD today for me as I splashed out on a railcard for DS. At least he will get a third off all rail journeys, and a couple of trips a year means the card is paid for.

Tomorrow I will be kept out of mischief at work, Sunday too, so should reach my target. Especially since I have given OH enough Easter chocolate to keep him busy and away from shops.

Ok, Igor, I will come and look at all the chocolate eggs you and Chef have made......

Well, where are they? All I can see are rows and rows of trays of eggs.

Ah, you and Chef made chocolate eggs the same size and shape as real eggs and covered them in a pale brown sugar coating? How ingenious! They look identical to real eggs, how clever of you two!

What is it, Mrs Doyle? You collected six dozen eggs from the Ennessdee Towers flock of chickens, and left them in trays on the kitchen table.....in amongst Igor and Chef's chocolate eggs.....And you now want to know which are the real eggs so you can make a mountain of egg sandwiches?

Calm down, all of you! Think, Mrs Doyle, where exactly on the table did you put them? Chef, stop getting stormy, and Igor...stop whining!

The Nargle has a cunning plan.........

Igor! Fetch Broody Mary, that chicken who keeps trying to hatch eggs.

Now put her on the kitchen table in that basket with all the comfy tea towels in. Stick an egg under her - if it melts, it's chocolate, if it doesn't, it isn't....got it? Well, crack on then, guys.......only 18 dozen eggs to check.....

Had a small spendy day today. Bought 2 secondhand books for £2 at the English Heritage place. Paid for it from my boot fair money. Did wonder whether to count it but then I decided to, as I have still had a spend.
