£1 on VO allowed me to get a £15 AGC. Had a 10% off code from them for being on prime student (not valid on marketplace items) so an extra £1.30 from that off a £12.99 book.

2 books totalling £20.88 for £3.12 of my own money

ETA and got the £2.99 pantry credit for no-rush delivery so I suppose the books really only cost me 13p :rotfl:

Sorry not been on here for weeks, since early last month I think. Tried a quick catch-up of posts on last month and this month's threads but there have been hundreds:eek:.

From a quick scan it looks as if there are lots of new members and a lot have us 'oldies' have disappeared. Doesn't look as if anyone has missed me and my pearls of wisdom whilst I've been absent. Story of my life really:o

Have no internet access where I am at present, have just called home for the day to see to a few things (and where I do have internet:j) but am away again tonight for the next few weeks at least. Very serious health issues of a close family member, I'm needed more there than I am at home for now.

All my money-making plans have been put on hold, had to put my Amazon sales on 'holiday' settings as not here to deal with sales and mailings, plus had to ask for a let-out from postal surveys etc. Probably won't get back on again now and I really enjoyed them. No internet means other online opportunities are non-starters too. Also, had to refuse a couple of weeks of phonebook delivering so just over £300 lost there.

On the plus side, if there is such a thing at the moment, I've had 3 payouts from PPI and interest claims, nothing mega but pleasant surprises really as 2 of them have been ongoing for months and the Ombudsman did the trick finally:T. Not exactly cash in hand which is a bit of a blow as the 3 companies concerned insisted on using the money towards my debts with them. Not too bad though as it means my Debt Free Date will be about 3 months sooner when all my money will be my own:j:j:j

Congratulations on the job, Aesop:beer:, if anyone deserves success it's you after all your trying to get one:A. Looks as if it's not too convenient for you and DS at the moment but I'm sure something better will turn up for you.

Not going to be on here again today or for the next few weeks probably so I'll wish you all plenty of money-making and a very :easter:

We do miss you carbootcrazy and lynnejk as thread is not same without oldies. Even Rosie just pops on now and again.

Lynne is on a well deserved holiday and we knew you were going to be absent for a while as you told us.

Didn't want to make you feel bad for not being here by posting things were quiet without you. We do miss you!

Well done on ppi and interest reclaims. I have 4 that have to go to ombudsman as the businesses are being difficult.

Sorry to hear family member is ill. The good thing os they are getting the benefit of your pearls of wisdom that we are missing.

Hope to see you back soon. Xxx

Hi everyone and great to see you pop on for a quick update CBC - sounds like you are having a bit of a nightmare :( hope all settles and you sort internet etc again soon!

I've had migraine for days and although it has now gone am still a bit doolally. Still trying to catch up with stuff.

Plan for today is just to get a couple of parcels sorted and booked in with courier.

Am playing around with the idea to only make claims on sites at the end of the month so i can see if earning is going up on them or not. Looking forward to claiming on a few at the end of this month to make a start on that. Seems like i am gravitating towards more of a single payday type situation for now.... not sure i like it LOL!

Completely confused about where i am with earnings again but will be updating my spreadsheet again to check.
