In other news, a lovely £206 tax credits deposit landed in my account today! It was actually OH that organised all of that and I had forgotten completely, so it was a total surprise. I don't even know if its meant to be a regular thing or a one off!!! Anyway, not counting it as such, but very helpful. Straight to the mortgage! WOOP!
reading some groups, sounds like a one off. it was the shortfall due to you if your payments are due to increase. ie you were being underpaid before... also people got paid early as payments are made from Ireland and today was St Paddy's day and the offices were closed.0 -
O £1071.13 better off
I have just come home to a letter saying we are getting that amount from the first PPI CLAIM that I have done with the AA.......
I cannot believe that I only filled the forms in a month ago and I have now got a letter today confirming that amount.....

absolutely brilliant news
well done
i cannot repeat it enough, anyone with PPI, charged bank accounts etc get in there now and start claiming back before they stop people claiming! and they will soon, start clamping down. get in while you can!0 -
sorry for being awol, stopped getting notifications again! I like to read even if I can't reply.
big hugs to everyone on here, sounds like quite a few of us going through tough times.
Love coming on though to read how well everyone is doing with money making, like the idea of daily challenges. mine are to get up and get out of bed and get DS to school on time :rotfl:
been reading my work contract and am a bit concerned about somethings.... I need to talk to the Director tomorrow about some ambigious things.
I think I am going to start looking around again for another job, preferably 5 days but part time still. DS is finding it hard - he loves the adventure of going to school with his friend and having subway for tea one day a week, but it is starting to affect when his homework is getting done etc. And we are starting to struggle with timings etc.
I'm finding myself getting very stressed at trying to get him out on time, and then finding myself at the job 30 minutes early and no way of getting into the office until someone arrives..... not funny when cold in the morning.
anyway, enough moaning.
well done you amazing people, love all the money making and enterprising ideas.
rawdinosaur - bikinis! don't you want to wait until it is warmer and try again for higher prices?0 -
Another auction ended with a profit of £13.81, also done a mystery shop for £10 and a Textbroker article for £6.50.
Irritatingly the TB client has now changed the format so I then had to redo the article, plus another 4 others that I've written for them this week. This is one of the downsides of Textbroker, some clients ask for extensive rewrites for which you don't get paid any fees. Oh well hope they like the finished articles at least.
there might be other sites that pay better for your work.0 -

I put mine into my natwest current account and when I get home....I promptly send it to my nationwide account and over pay the mortgage.
metro bank do this too and they don't charge you for conversion even if you don't have an account with them.
love this Kantankrus Mare :money::T0 -
Hi all
Just a couple of small bits to add for me. £4.58 transferred from PayPal and £5 AGC from Gifthulk. Was having with this as it was showing as not delivered and no code to redeem. I raised a support ticket and it magically appeared but I noticed I have a previous one still outstanding from nearly 2 years ago! Raised another ticket so may get that too. Fingers crossed. Have also been told won £1 on Geotask and 10p on TCB but won't add till I get them.
Have been feeling a bit low the last couple of days but have now reached the 'got to laugh' stage.
Take care
Sharon x
wow! you got GH to pay out on old gc!!! well done, I doff my cap to you! :T:beer:
You seem to do well with geotask. my app is always saying had to close as not responding, although still getting my daily credits.
Hugs to you too. Think a few on this thread are struggling too and finding things hard. xx0 -

well done on reclaiming your lost money.
there are loads of accounts out there with lost money, i recommend everyone take time to complete the lost/missing account form and have a go. some have found accounts they forgot about, with a fair bit in them.
I never get anything but find my sister's accounts turn up to me...lol.
Never worth anything to me as they are too tight to say thanks lol.0 -

I had bought a new printer though just before it came out and mines not compatible. Mine is insured and I have been willing it to break ever since but so far it's holding out lol. If you need any help picking which one send me a PM x
thanks I love my pixma but lately struggling with scanning and finding where it stores my scanned stuff, because it's not where I want it!
so am thinking will get HP free, give pixma to friend, tell her to get it repaired and she can keep it. hers is on it's last legs so this will be good. if she don't want it will see if any one locally is technically minded, and can buy it cheap to repair.
I looked at this one in argos, but probably gone up in price by the time i get enough vouchers.
