Thank you for starting the March thread Aesop!

Please may I be put down for £5 a day :)

Nothing mega to squeeze out of Quidco, but this month is Women's History Month so I'm going to be spamming my eBooks left, right and centre which will hopefully get a few extra pennies rolling in.

Hope your books are selling well.

    Hey there

Off the mark with £5 Halifax reward. Have had text from mfortune to say my withdrawal from last month has been approved so should get that by Monday too.

Well done on the job offer Aesop. Even if you decide not to take it, it's always nice to feel you were their first choice! Could you ask a friend to take your son to school maybe? I had to do this for a while when I started work at my current place ( different job) and I actually dropped one of my sons off with a friend as she was walking her boys to school. He was older though - about 10 I think which made it easier. Hope it all works out and the job at school comes up for you. Working with young children can be very difficult. I was lucky to get a term time only job 9.30 - 2.30 when boys started school and then took a job in my daughters secondary school when she was in year 7 and the boys were in year 5. Having school holidays off was a godsend especially as I had 3 children and my boys didn't cope well with holiday clubs! 10 years on and I'm still working at the school and still really like having school holidays off - even though I don't really need them now.

    Sorry for the verbal diarrhoea

    Sharon x

I applied for the other job too, as more money and at son's school.

I hsve asked another mum to take !my son to school and pick him up thursday but it is a temporary arrangement as she doesn't want to do it longterm. Give me a chance to sort something out if dont get other job.

    Thankyou x

Lol, I'm the opposite - I'm 200ish short of my first John Lewis voucher and had plans for nailing it by the end of the week....however, I spent the day in bed nursing a well deserved hangover and have taken precisely 47 steps :rotfl:

Sounds like you had fun :)

well done on the job asoep! are you friendly with any of the 'stay at home' mummys or other working mums, maybe a cheaper option than a child minder? I have a friend who's son is in the same class as my son a few doors away, we help each other with school runs when we are working, generally she takes my son after I've done a night shift and I pick her son up if she's working to save her rushing around to get back in time.

I moved my son to another school and I don't really know many parents here. I would have probably managed to get my son into breakfast club and afterschool there because caters for more kids than this school. Plus I mummy friends who could have helped.

There is one but she is only prepared to do it very short term.

I checked my online banking as usual first thing this morning and there was 99p interest in my new TSB account!! It's been open less than a month and money has passed through it, but there's been no real balance to speak of so I was stunned!!! And very happy :j

I think I did surveys last night til my eyes couldn't focus anymore so I'm a step closer to the payout on Onepoll and Valued Opinions, and I think I can cash out $10 on Mintvine...once I work out how to do it!

Off out running errands, walking rather than using the car so I aim to collect 80 Bounts points today too :A

Sounds like a great account to have, well done.

Siouxsie, Kantankarus Mare thank you both.

I really don't think I have the hang of this app just yet. I have not been logging any activity, and have only just seen the spin wheel. I have 86 attempts to use so will hopefully get some more points from this. Will also consider the possibility of upgrading once I figure it all out.

A nice £20 in the form of an Amazon GC to add as well today. Was a bit dubious about this but I received this voucher from Mobile Expressions, and thanks to Aesop's advice hung on to cash out £20, instead of £10. The difference being only a few weeks for no effort whatsoever on my part. :D

How much did you win with your spins?
