I got those as well, didn't really consider them comics though. Not long after I started buying them they did a series of articles on the land speed record which were fascinating.I read Look and Learn, that's why I'm such a smart arse.

From memory and roughly in order:
Twinkle first then followed by Bunty, Judy, Mandy, Tammy, Jinty, Misty. Later Jackie, Blue Jeans, Oh Boy, Loving, Just 17, 19
The comics of my childhood I do recall being pocket money priced and I'd cut down or omit whenever I was saving for something. Unlike today where the comic cost a few£s and each edition comes with a 'free' gift. It was occasional and exciting for a comic to come with a free gift when I was a child, though it did usually combine with a price increase!0 -
Beano & Dandy were the more regular ones, for some weird reason my Gran used to buy Commando for me as well (y'know the one that came as a little A5 sized book). There's also Oor Wullie/The Broons which my Gran gets me every Christmas, it just wouldn't be the same without it, I might be 31 years old but that's as integral a part of Christmas as crackers & sprouts!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

That's just reminded me about the Rupert annuals which I loved to receive as a Christmas present. I bought them for my sons for many years, which was probably more about me than them!0
