Good morning to all

Other half has a day off so he has much more extensive list of things to be getting on with!
[STRIKE]-Take overnight oats for breakfast and my lunch with me to classes today[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-Change university stuff into backpack from handbag[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-Take teabags into uni so I don't have to pay 1.80 for a tea (shocking, I know)[/STRIKE]
-unfortunately not a NSD as I will have to pay for the hot water for my tea bags and my noodles for lunch.
[STRIKE]-sort uniforms for hospital placements[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-general tidy up though I am hoping OH will have done this ... Stranger things have happened![/STRIKE] he'd done a couple of bits and I've nearly finished the rest
-sort out unwanted clothes and other bits around the house to sell or give to charity shop
-get cards for Mother's Day and brothers birthday
Gonna get the cards on Friday instead (OH Payday) and I'm gonna go and have a mooch around for things to declutter with. Overall on track. Today's dinner is a Chinese curry dump bag, smells lovely!0 -
Ally - Is there anything you don't know about?! You're a very handy person to have around!Baileys_Babe wrote: »I agree she is amazing.
Thanks people. I don't know anything about crochet...or chicken-raising...and I can't pack a suitcase. Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

don't know how we will do it.
Is there anything you can sell or ways you can access money or loyalty rewards?
MusicMagpie will buy CDs and DVDs though it doesn't pay well and you have to wait up to a week for payment.
Or there's eBay. In my experience unwanted mobile phones and broken computers sell really quickly as do anything that comes off or goes in a motor vehicle.
Or local selling groups on Facebook.
Or Zapper to sell on used books.
Or do you have a book of unused Royal Mail postage stamps at home? If you put that on eBay I can almost guarantee it will sell in a day or two. Even partial books will sell. I have sold a book of 9 with one missing which I used to post the stamps to the buyer. This is legal as long as you don't sell them for more than they sell for in the Post Office.
Also check any loyalty points you have. If you have 500 Nectar Points you can spend them immediately at Sainsbury's or a whole lot of other places.
If you have a PayPal account check you haven't forgotten any money sitting in that.
If you have used Quidco or Topcashback check that for money you haven't withdrawn.
If you have a Tesco Clubcard and think you might have forgotten to spend some vouchers from them you can read here how to get those unused vouchers back almost instantly. (Link)
Look down the back of your sofa and in old purses and pockets for lost coins.
Do you have any broken, unloved gold jewellery you could sell? Shop around for the best price. Most High Streets have a shop that will buy from you. 5g of 18 carat gold is worth £101 just now if you shop around. Many places will buy Sterling silver from you too.

Thank you all for your kind words.
Will see if the MIL will get some nappies as usually have Asda own brand for DS2 and she picks some up for us every now and again as not close to an Asda!
Tonight we have Chinese stir fry and instead of using the chicken breasts I have in the freezer, will use spicy breaded chicken, give it more kick! I know I have a lot of breaded chicken in the freezer and not used it as tried to make more meals from scratch. I also have some casserole beef, some mince, frozen chips (sure ham egg and chips will go down a treat one day), leftover Thai green curry which will do me and OH. Lots of pasta and some creme fraiche so that's another meal sorted. Plus some leftover homemade soup which will do me one night when OH gets fed at his mothers!
Just hate being in such a tight spot.
Feel free to post food ideas as I know mine are quite basic!!DMP Started June 20160 -

I can pack a suitcase, but I know nothing about the other 2, I ask my sister she does both of these as well as teaching my children needle crafts when they ask with the patients of a saint as I have no idea how to.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

If you go to Cooking on a Bootstrap (Link) or BBC Goodfood (Link) you'll find a lot on there.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Thanks for the ideas. Going to have a rummage around tomorrow for things to sell on eBay.
Nothing in PayPal and as for quidco, I have £140 tracked but not paid yet from going to BT. Still waiting on an Amazon £50 voucher for gas/elec which is well overdue and keep chasing, nothing yet and I have £100 MasterCard prepayment card to come from BT for switching but again they taking their time
I have £5 on nectar card. Will check Tesco, very rarely use them so not sure what, if anything I have!DMP Started June 20160 -

Try complaining publically on Twitter or Facebook on the company's page or by private message to them through Social Media. This worked for me with a missing Quidco claim.
Or use Resolver to complain. I've had about 60% success complaining through this free service set up by Martin Lewis. (Link)
And have you checked there is nothing in your old account from before you switched that you could get back? Details here. (Link)

Freebies:
Soup:
Print a voucher from New Covent Garden Soup Co to get £1 off any soup flavour in store at all major supermarkets. Coupons are valid for 30 days from printing. The soup is reduced to £1 in Asda so with this coupon you'd get it for free. (Link)
Pizza:
