I think people must have different opinions as to what wrinkles are. Or they never smile or laugh. Or maybe it's related to poor vision.
I'm fairly sure tiny wrinkles appear before the first grey hair, on most people.
Don't worry about it Spinkz. Most men get increasingly attractive with age.
So glad wrinkles don't appear before the grey hairs, I started going grey at 7:eek:
And seriously I've no wrinkles on my face at all
Saggy neck and jaw, bat wings, and my hands look to belong to someone twice my age, but no wrinkles
A friend is 68 and still has a beautiful complexion, with no wrinkles and her mum who is 92 has only just got them since she's been so poorly
We all have chubby faces, and all have/had oily skin which I believe helps keep you younger looking longer PITA in your youth but you reap the benefits past 400 -
Mid-30's for the 11's between my brows starting and fine lines at the side of my eyes. Started using peels to combat these and the slightly downturned mouth that kicked in this year and finally caved in this year (nearly 40) for botox.
What a difference to what I see in the mirror. other people say to me you don't have wrinkles - doh I don't have them as botox irons them out lol. No plastic face but it has definitely made me look fresher and more rested. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I haven't 'spawned' wrinkles as yet - and hope never to do so.
My face has, however, acquired a number of faint memories of various emotions, expressions and habits over the years.
If you look closely, it looks as if my mouth has brackets on either side. If I wanted to get rid of those marks, I'd have to stop smiling so often. Not going to happen.
There's also a faint fan of lines on the outer corner of each eye. Those lines are much more defined when I smile - or laugh - so I know how to get rid of them. Stop smiling and laughing. Nah, not going to happen.
I also know how to get rid of the line between my brows. Wear reading glasses more often, so that I don't have to squint and frown at the text to try to see it.
Nah. Not going to happen either :rotfl:
I'll continue to keep those memories on my face - maybe acquire a few more - and wait to see if they/I one day happen to spawn a wrinkle or two alongside. (and all of the other memory-creating emotions)
If you are anything like me, which i can tell you definitely are :rotfl: the memory expressions we need to cut out to save our faces is pouting. Its a bit of a bad habit of mine to bust out a pout, especially in instagram selfies! Pouting causes lip wrinkles to spawn apparently and although it looks great now it wont when i'm 40 :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I am 55 with a few wrinkles. I am happy to have them. My skin has long been neglected, I have carried too much weight, but my mum had great skin and I seem to follow suit. I am recovering from a severe stroke and my face was not expressing animation until quite recently. My few wrinkles are evidence my face moves, I smile and it reaches my eyes. Wrinkles rock.
I too had a grey streak from 19, and mostly grey hair by the time of my stroke (54). Last year in addition to my stroke I had a some other health problems. My skin was itchy and peeling. My hair fell out.
My skin was treated with bio oil which worked wonders and I am a lot more considerate about my face , it is now moisturised with Clarins products. My hair has grown back slowly, I have looked like einstein or billy connelly for the last year:eek: hair is now thicker than before, All grey with a dark tinge ( my dd describes it as a brown streak) and is much darker underneath.0 -
Judging from some of the responses here, I'm not sure we all have the same definition of a wrinkles!
I have lines around my eyes that definitely weren't there before. I don't know how long they've been there; I feel like I just noticed them one day. To me it seems like loads appeared overnight!0 -

You're not wrong; I can't recall seeing anyone north of 30 without wrinkles. The thought of anyone 40+ having none is, at best, laughable.0 -

You're probably right added to wishful thinking and failing eye sight:rotfl:Maybe we need photos:eek: Not of me at the moment, not well and thought I was going to die last night, was seriously thinking of a 999 call or whatever the numbers are now. I look more dead than alive at the moment and would probably scare everyone, wrinkles are the least of my problems.Sell £1500

I think it is weight-related. I used to have a chubby face and I looked very young for my age, but I lost a lot of weight and started to look quite drawn.
I have a few forehead lines which I noticed after my 40th birthday, but they were probably there before then!left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

So far, at age 36 none! Not even fine lines around my mouth or eyes! I feel quite lucky because I am very slim, which normally shows them up earlier than a fuller face! I still don't have any grey hairs either, I take after my mum, who hit her first grey hair at 53 after chemo when her 'new hair' grew in, and only started getting lines/wrinkles when she was in her late 40s0
