It as stated before would make me feel uncomfortable. I do not wish to see other people in a state of undressLost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Back to the original questions - OP, I think that the person who called you names was staggeringly rude. There is nothing disgusting about taking your swimsuit off to shwer, and even if you had not been covered up, itwould have been inappropriate for her to do anything more that to *politely* direct your attention to any rules which the pool might have - i,.e. the only time when it would be OK for her to comment would be if the pool itself had rules about what you could wear and you were breaching those rules.
In general, I think that a changing room is one plac where it is acceptable to be naked, OI think that if you (general) don't wish to see other people's bodies that that is your issue, not theirs, and it is unreasonable to expect other people to cover up becasue you don't want to see them.
I agree with the posters saying that it is healthy for children and young people in particualr to havesome exposure to normal huiman bodies to counteract the unrealistic, airbrushed ones the media bombard us with.
(also agree with those saying that having to wear a swimsuit in the sauna is not pleasant!)All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -

Cubicle might not be the right word. I think I used the word stall elsewhere. Essentially a small enclosed box a bit like a toilet stall, but with a door at each end. Not sure how it would normally be called, though. What you describe sounds more what I am used to from going to single sex changing rooms. Something more open.0 -
"You must go and see the ladies" I was told, and off I went. To find a double toilet cubicle!
I draw the line there ...
Cosy..
Reminds me of the toilets in Sochi when they had the Winter Olympics there. They were mentioned on the news
I know men have urinals, but open toilets without cubicles?? I don't think I'd want to be having a pony with other people wandering in and out! Or watching someone else have one :rotfl: And the smell must be awful!left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

Everywhere I have been in the past 10 years has been communal changing rooms. One swimming pool had showers at the far end past the lockers and it was all cubicles and they were separated into family, girls then boys closest to the lockers all in the same open space, this is the closest I have been to single sex changing rooms in yonks. Where my daughter had swimming lessons was a private pool and in there you had one big communal shower, then single changing rooms behind it or if you went to left big family changing rooms with some open space for those that weren't fussed about a cubicle. The kids school swimming lessons are on a private golf club and its mixed open space to get changed, tbh I was not too happy about this as I think my daughter needs some privacy but I think the school are pretty good at keeping the boys one side and girls the other, although she has said she has helped her brother get changed a couple of times I am guessing that is once she is finished.
I am not bothered if others shower in a shower cubicle naked but I wouldn't like to see it in the communal shower. I definitely wouldn't be going near there if it was a man showering, just go brush my hair or something then come back.0 -

Maybe they plumbed in the toilets before putting in the cubicles...Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

I went to an all girls schools where we had benches by the side of the lockers where we got changed into our sports wear, and that was just a vest and grey knickers for the gym. We only were allowed to wear shirts and shorts for outdoor games. It was like that until I left school at the age of 16.
After the lessons we had to strip in the same area, wrap our towels around us and hang them up outside the shower area. We all had to go into the communal showers and the gym mistress would watch to see we didn't just walk straight through them. Then we had to dry ourselves back at the benches and dress again.
We were only allowed off showers if we were on our periods and this was noted in the attendance book to ensure that we didn't say the same thing every week. Not Rachmaninov

Mine was the same scenario (Girls' School also). I hated it and wonder if that is why I still hate it now,(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Cripes! That would have been my worst nightmare!
Our school gym had a changing room with four showers up one end. These had three sides but were open to the room and there were no curtains.
Luckily, taking a shower was optional, so I opted out; I would have had one if there had been shower curtains.(I just lurve spiders!)

So at this point it's clear that to you, anyone seeing anyone else naked, adult or child, for any reason, would make you feel uncomfortable?Hello There. :beer:0
