I was talking about single sex. I would never ever use mixed sex facilities and didn't realise they existed in general use.:eek:Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Could well be me. English is not my first language and communal presumably doesn't mean what I thought it did! Though, to be honest, I don't think it would occur to me that anyone is going to have an issue with nudity in a single sex changing room. I should have thought it hard to change and shower without some nudity.0 -

You've led a sheltered life.0 -
Talking of toilets (as we were) it reminds me of the place where we went for a meal after Mum's funeral. During the day it functions as a coffee bar / cafe, but at night it becomes a nightclub - we were warned that if we were still there at 9 pm the boys would have to show ID.
"You must go and see the ladies" I was told, and off I went. To find a double toilet cubicle!
I draw the line there ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Given that you've said that you'd only get undressed in a separate cubicle, what difference would it make to you?0 -
I was talking about single sex too. I'm not happy being in a state of undress in front of people. It makes no difference to me whether it's male or female, that part is irrelevant to me.Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0

It just does! Especially if you still have to use a shower.missbiggles1 wrote: »Given that you've said that you'd only get undressed in a separate cubicle, what difference would it make to you?
I concede that if it is a cubicle with solid walls and all you're doing is getting changed, ie not having to walk to showers, then that would be acceptable.
Can't help how I feel about it!(I just lurve spiders!)

I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!

I have come across them, but they have stalls with doors where you can get changed. You still have to get from shower to stall and then you end up having to get changed in a cramped space. I think they tend to have them in facilities where you're likely to get families.
I've never heard of anyone having issues with people getting showered or changed in single sex changing rooms. If that's the case in the original post, my advice would be to ignore the woman. It's her issue to deal with, not yours; otherwise they wouldn't design changing rooms they way they are.0 -
Ive never seen communal unisex changing anywhere even abroad. Surely a godsend to dirty old men?0

Not really, because, in the ones I have seen at least, you get changed in a miniature cubicle. I'd have thought there would be more fertile hunting grounds for dirty old men than busy changing rooms.0
