I'm using X as an unknown quantity Adrian - the OP hasn't told us those letters :-)

You're right about pink'n'fluffy though - I knew somebody who bought X -3 numbers - two letter abbreviation of her name - X so it would have kisses at either end.

TT55NAT might therefore go for an Audi driver; DD55NAT might appeal to a more curvaceous lady driver.
I need to think of something new here...

My bad. I thought I'd missed a reveal. Thinking about it, it can't be XX anyway - X is the export identifier.

There's only a fairly small number of combos - the 19 usual local mnemonics, plus J and T.
I, Q and Z are still Nor'n Iron only, and X is export.
  • So someone randomly assumed xx and everyone believes them like the sheep they are here.

I'm going to sell the plate for hundreds. Kerching.

Ps stick to your daytime shows if you like quizzes

Pps you're all wrong on the letters

Over and out in this thread. Play nicely among yourselves, kids.:rotfl:

A little bit off topic, but is there a way of finding out what the plate will be(was) when removing a private plate?

HPI check lists plate changes (I think), and unless it was on from new, the old plate might be mentioned somewhere in the service history / paperwork.
