Who do I contact re having access to fibre optic broadband?

Ofcom won't be interested. I suggest searching for your regional BDUK scheme first and foremost to see if there are any plans for your cabinet to be upgraded.0

A broadband avaialability check on my line says 'fibre broadband is not available in your area'. Having looked at an availability map, it is clear that every property in my street except mine is covered.
My provider (TalkTalk) says it's Openreach's problem. I can't contact Openreach, so who will have made the decision to omit my property and how do I contact them to see if this is an error? Is Ofcom my first port of call?
It's possibly an issue of incomplete/incorrect records. Your best bet is to contact an ISP that has a higher than average level of clue and who is willing and able to discuss individual cases with Openreach.
I'd suggest Andrews and Arnold, or an Entanet reseller.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
