First thoughts. Should Bernie or trump win, what do you think would happen to the price of UK house prices.
Maybe some capital flight to London per chance ?

Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Pretty sure that the first thing that will happen in either scenario is that everyone in the US will start desperately trying to buy 2 bed terraced houses in Wood Green causing prices to increase by 12,400%.0 -
well obviously, as in some British circles, 'Trump' is also the word for bottom burp, so a win for Donald Trump will be seen as a win for the renter underclass, as it is only renters that suffer from the indignity of rear end flatulence.
This will probably see market rents stagnate due to backlash from the renting underclass, BTL owners defaulting on their mortgages due to rental arrears, and the entire population living in the calais jungle as a result, thanks to the Brexit. Houses will become worthless, but tents and caravans will increase by 1000000%0 -
i don't think your pretence that this is about house prices and not US politics is going to stop you incurring the wrath of the moderators
Trump cannot win, he is simply unelectable as president. I rarely say things are impossible, but this is one of them
If he wins the primaries then that is it, the democates have won another term0 -

Depends on who he is up against. You can get better odds on Trump than Sanders, who is much more 'unelectable'.
It's looking more and more like it's gonna be Hilary.0 -

True, what with Cross rail 2, the 24 hour tube and the massive Ally Pally regeneration it will probably get silly in wooders.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -
Trump won the South Carolina primary and scooped all 50 delegates and won the Nevada caucus getting another 14. Clinton won in Nevada and is apparently well ahead in South Carolina.
Looking very much like Trump v Clinton.
More will be known after Super Tuesday.0 -
v Bloomberg?I think....0

v Bloomberg?
He is apparently thinking about it.
I've read that he would run if it was Trump v Sanders. Which is understandable, If the Americans were faced with the choice of idiot one or idiot two, there would at least be a chance that they might be persuded to pick an alternative that was not an idiot.0 -
No, he got those results by antrobussing............and he found them on Reuters
No, I found them on the New York Times.:)
I use this link to keep track of what's going on in the US Primaries.
