Ok, im 15, but instead of saying "i told you so" could you please help me.

Il ask again, how long do i have to pay the £38 until the fee increases?

At what point did I say *I told you so* ~ what I said was take the advice offered.

We are not your bank, we cannot advise you how long before or how much the charges will increase.

As IA explains - it will depend on your bank and I would expect the kind or account you hold.

As per my previous post I suggest that you contact them at your earliest convenience.

My eBay fee's were at £11.92 and when i checked, my bank is at -£38 now as eBay were unable to take any money since my balance was 0

Are you saying that ebay have actually taken money from your bank account?? Are you sure it was not a scam email?? Plenty doing the rounds for ebay.

jsut wondering how you have picked up a bank charge, as far as i know, you can't be charged on an under 18 account?

  • Just a quick response to op's query re fees increasing.
You have been charged for an unpaid dd which has taken you overdrawn, if this is an unauthorised o/d then you will get charged for this, if you are still overdrawn at the beginning of a new month you are likely to be charged for unauth o/d again.
So, as previously advised on this thread - GO AND TALK TO YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY.

natwest do a 'step' account for under 18 and you can get charged with these. I did when i was younger however the charge was only £15 at the time ~ 6years ago (due to it being a 'step' account).

inx you ned to go to your bank. If the bank has charged you you need to get it sorted asap because if natwest works from the 1st of the month you will now have 2 charges on your account. You can ask for advise on many more forums/boards however they will all say the same, you need to contact your bank ~ as many others have replyed to you before.

I have canceled the direct debit VIA online banking.

Are you saying i should talk to my bank about getting rid of the fee's or about the fee increasing?
  • Hi
Wouldnt it be far easier to tell your parents the mistake that has happened (as it was a mistake) and ask them to cover the balance of the overdrawel? Then it gets paid asap and you dont incurr any more charges.

Don't they add interest everyday? Also, I thought you couldn't add the under 16 accounts on paypal/ebay? Thought it was only maestro/visa etc, and under 16s get solo.
