I worked for BT in sales and retention and have met and spoken to Libby Barr on a number of occasions - the Linked in photograph purporting to Be Libby Barr Managing Director, Consumer Customer Care at BT PLC, is not her!
Does anybody have any idea why BT are posting fake profile photographs?0 -
To prevent angry customers stalking her?0

I get the same premonition about the MSE staff photo top right. In fact stock photos are commonplace on web sites.
This thread is not as daft as it at first appears. It all depends on what capacity the said employee is employed and whether directly employed by BT. It could be necessary to sue the employee rather than the company. But in any case we put it into the hands of a solicitor who then decides whether court action is feasible. Could be expensive especially if the case is lost.0 -
I took out a 12 Month contract with BT, which has been nothing short of a nightmare. I used to work for BT in sales and retention and have met Libby Barr on a number of occasions, the photo of Libby Barr BT use is a fake, the real Libby Barr looks completely different. BT regularly lie to their customers, it is part of their culture (I could give innumerable examples but this is being dealt with by OFCOM, I am looking forward to their findings) My advice is to record ALL calls when speaking to BT from the very first one onward, this organisation are quite simply crooks! (I use that strong word advisedly), do not believe a word they say and always ask the person you are speaking to for their name, the department they are working in and get their confirmation that they are making notes pertaining to the call. Hope this helps.0
