After all the fuss and worry we have had an amazing result. I rang Travelodge and the manager said he would see what he could do to help and would ring me back.
15 Mins later he rang back to say he had rung the council to find out if there was any concession parking for disabled where we could leave the car for 24 hours. Of course there wasn't so he told me he would arrange a concession fee with the car park of £11 per night which we were more than happy with.
BUT- he went a step further and told me that as soon as we arrived he would refund us £22, taking it off the cost of the room so in effect we would be parking free.

Was amazed as we didn't expect anything like that. We are here now and he was as good as his word and couldn't have been more polite and helpful. What a lovely guy!!!!!
