Hi does anyone know if you can submit a claim if you work for the airline and were travelling on your concession? Thanks

I suspect you would be subject to disciplinary action as well, I suggest you look at the staff handbook!0

No - and probably wouldn't do your career much good anyway!0 -
As an aside I assisted a Thomson employee with a delay claim a couple of years ago. The person worked and still works for Thomson AND won the case in court! The person concerned had not used any staff scheme when booking.0

On what basis?0 -

On the basis that they didn't pay a fare but just taxes (it also applies on space available standby and confirmed space ID90/AD75s too)
If you worked in a store and bought something with a substantial staff discount which was faulty - you wouldn't expect the refund to be the full retail price-would you ?
And yes I agree a claim on a staff ticket would likely lead to disciplinary action for fraud (applying for passenger compensation when travelling on a staff ticket where different rules apply) - a staff member travelling on a standard passenger fare would be entirely different however.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Article 3(3) of the Regulation says:
"This Regulation shall not apply to passengers travelling free of charge or at a reduced fare not available directly or indirectly to the public."0 -

I didn't say they were entitled to compensation, but its not fraud and I don't believe disciplinary action would be allowed for0 -

I doubt it would ever come to that but if you send in a claim knowing you are not entitled, and not fully disclosing the crucial fact (ie, staff rate fare), then I would have thought that was attempted fraud.
At best, you would look a bit daft which may or may not be career limiting.0 -
This would be nothing to do with a a refund but compensation two different matters FRAUD by False Representation.0
