Our e-mails are due out this afternoon, but the neighbouring county are already able to log on. So my friend knows her son's secondary and he's in the same school as my DD (I live on a border)!!!

Our website says check back later so I'm going to have a cuppa, pull myself together and get out the house for a bit with my youngest.

My stomach is doing all sorts of flips here.......

I think every authority has its own system so you'd need to check on the website where you applied. Mine send and e-mail and I have a login to the admissions site where I will be able to read the allocation. It's the same for my neighbouring county but we're not near you so you'd need to check. Hopefully you can!!

  • i was told that letters are sent out on the 1st and received by the 3rd (that's a joke with Royal Mail) - hope it isn't true that we find out by Wednesday as someone else posted as my baby was due 4 days ago and i am desparate to hear.

    Good luck everyone.

I'll cross things for you both with the school and the baby! Our authority sends letters out first class today and e-mails later this afternoon. I get the feeling everywhere is slightly different. Not much comfort really....sorry :(

Look on your local council's website under schools. Hopefully there should be admissions details on there.

If mine doesn't get into my chosen school, I'll be home schooling, so it's a big deal for us too, one way or the other. (Primary though - I have a little longer to wait!)
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

can't find anything - i must be looking in the wrong place. Thanks anyway.

update - found that details are available from the first but presume that is online. it doesn't mention anything about when letters are posted. i am just so impatient.
