I think you can be absolutely certain that you definitely won't !!

Just because your husband thinks you are gorgeous doesn't mean everyone else thinks so - so you have nothing to worry about . All husbands think their wives are gorgeous after all - even if everyone else is trying to get them down to Specsavers !

If I've understood this HIGHLY believable tale correctly :D it's the husband's friend who thinks she's attractive..

Duchy - I think everybody else does think bluelass is gorgeous.
Her 'hubs' (Yuk! Awful word) friend thinks so.

My husband has a friend he has known for a few years now and I have met him twice. Recently this friend suggested meeting up with himself and his wife on Saturday nights which I don't really have any problem with. However she is very large and not good on her feet because of her obesity and my hubs friend has told him previously how attractive I am which is a nice complement.
And I think in the thread about Munchausen's Syndrome she often compared herself favourably to her DIL-to-be.

I'm still busy trying to find a way of prizing her unreasonable BIL out of his council mansion.;)

Yes, the OP is certainly a lady who always seems to be in the thick of things.

TBH, if my life had one-tenth of the issues that the OP seems to have, I'm sure I'd be exhausted.

...something that popped up on my F/B page just now and seems oh so appropriate to this (and all threads started by Bluelass).

You don't actually think this dilemma is real do you?! :rotfl:
It's about as real as a lot of MSE's WWYD dilemmas

  • Hi Bluelass,

I wouldn't worry too much about this situation. You carry on dressing how you want and looking how you want. If your new friends are like me then once they get to know you they probably won't invite you back again.

    Problem solved.
