Jealousy What To Do?

My husband has a friend he has known for a few years now and I have met him twice. Recently this friend suggested meeting up with himself and his wife on Saturday nights which I don't really have any problem with. However she is very large and not good on her feet because of her obesity and my hubs friend has told him previously how attractive I am which is a nice complement. Last week when he saw my husband he asked him to tell me not to wear skinny jeans or heels because his wife cant wear those sort of things and will feel left out. My hubby thought that was out of order and told him so. She is older than me at 55 and I don't want to make her feel bad but I wont look older or bigger than what I am. What do others think? socialise with them or avoid. And no im not trolling or full of myself.
Bluelass
I did ask oh not to mention anything but he obviously ignored my wishes.
Please wear what you like and I'm sure we'll get on a house on fire whilst you give me an inferiority complex0 -

I don't want to offend the lady but I don't want to disadvantage myself to ease her insecurity.
Disadvantage yourself????
Have you forgotten you are a very happily married lady with a husband who adores you ( or so you have told us )
Look, just take one of your spare boxes of Thorntons, double up on the Gin and dont sit next to the man with the lard !!!! wife.. Im sure you will have a ball
Esp if it the pub where your uncle gets his rocks off or the one that has no fire escapes, or even the one where you are all expected to have a whip round to bury the local drunk
Gonna be one classy evening whatever you wear

Hey Bluelass!
I've found the interview you did with the Daily Mail, you're right, you are truly stunning:

I'm eaten up with jealousy.
PS. How are your stepson, DIL, aunt, uncle, BIL and nephew coping with their recent traumatic/stressful experiences?0 -
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I do feel very sad for bluelass - if it wasn't for her bad luck, she'd have no luck at all, poor soul!0

So beautiful she makes men cry - apparently:whistle:.
I remember the interview, I roared with laughter whilst cringing in embarrassment for this deluded woman.
Did someone mention 'deluded woman'?

Karma. The beautiful but wicked Queen was the villainess in the fairy tale Snow White.
She would stand before her talking mirror to inquire, “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” Each time, the mirror would respond, “Thou, O Queen, art the fairest in the land.”
But over the years, Snow White grew into womanhood and her beauty transcended every other woman in the kingdom.
Came the day when the mirror said to the Queen, “Snow White, O Queen, is the fairest of them all.”
