Parcelhero Issue

I've had the exact same thing (as have lots of other people https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.parcelhero.com) Trying to charge me over £100 extra.
OP, what happened in the end?
They seem like total scammers so I've written to Citizen's Advice. We'll see what happens...
I suspect you wont find out as the OP hasn't been on since march.0 -
By way of a follow up...
As Parcelhero used UPS, and claim UPS reported that my parcel was overweight, I thought I'd check with them. They have the weight of my parcel recorded at 37kg - the figure I gave when I booked the courier in the first place. I sent Parcelhero a copy of the delivery note from UPS's website, which recorded this weight, and haven't heard from them since.
I also contacted Citizen's Advice who said:
Once a price has been agreed between the trader and consumer it is deemed reasonable and legally binding. If the trader asks you for more money then you can argue that you are under no legal obligation to pay them. Furthermore; if the trader didn’t want to carry out the service at the agreed price then they should have informed you of this prior to performing to the contract. This would have given you the chance to either agree or decline the amended price.
Citizen's Advice have now reported Parcelhero to Trading Standards.
To conclude - do not use Parcelhero!0
