What a terrible weather day here it is today. We have high winds, sleet, rain and hail. Stayed indoors today. Been cleaning cooker which I have been putting off so thats out of the way now.

Glad you are home now AprilLady and can chill for the evening.

saw the ending of the jame's last Saturday kitchen this
morning leanfun, was quite sad even though I don't reg
watch it it will seem diff without him,
he was quite upset himself when he gave the lovely speech,

lol, rain came this afternoon but kids got the hunt done
before it got too bad
think they hide them in same places each year so
the kids know where they are anyway,
amazing what they remember!
& I've won a bottle of wine & some posh
shower/bath smellies from the raffle which
will be a nice b/day pressie for SIL

We had same kind of afternoon as your pic Sylvia. Our oven desperately needs cleaning. Well done on doing yours.

Pleased to hear you had a good afternoon FireFly and well done on your wins.

I didn't watch Saturday Kitchen every week but if I was ironing I put it on. I'm not very good following receipes but after watching James so many times I am now very efficient at chopping veg especially onions. Agree won't be quite the same. Most of the time he made it look effortless.

Welcome Angiemarkmax. The best thing is lo log in and competitions you do enter tick, if not put a cross. Most competitions on main board can only be entered once or your entries may not be counted.

It soon becomes familiar.

must be admitting the wind frightens me a bit as
well leanfun,
it can do so much damage,
I was once out when living in our old house when there
was one of the bad windy storms on & nearly
got hit by slates coming off a neighbours house,
just missed me by a few mins, was very frightening!
