We had a nice roast lunch here with DD1 & family. DD2 & GD is coming on Tuesday as her partner has to work this week.

Thanks for your wishes peeps. Had a good day today but knees are as bad as ever again. Think I have done to much getting up and down today with chair bet DS is sore tonight holding me up lol bless him.Oh well back to resting again Not used to this being completely out of action. Usually it just affects my upper limbs or occasionally ankle.. Neighbour brought me down a nice slice of apple pie and some cream and made me a nice cuppa.

Here DD1 and family came for a roast meal for dinner this evening. We had a good day.

Morning, sorry to hear you have a flare up rose. Hope it eases up soon for you. my hands have been really painful these last couple of days it's usually my legs and feet that my arhritas flares up in.
I have been up ,most of the night with the winds.They are gale force here and i thought my windows were going to come though. I just looked out and a couple of my fence panels out back are down, and my conservatry roof keeps lifting. Hope that stays on.. I hope the weather is better where you are.

Well .... Storm Katie arrived here through the night. :eek:

We didn't get much sleep due to the battering of the winds
etc. The power was off in early hours but thankfully it's now
back on .... just going to venture out in a mo and check
for any damage. I can see that the garden furniture has
been blown around, hopefully that's all - fingers 'n paws
crossed.

Lovely family are all going to stay here for a couple more
hours and head off back home later (just in case there's
disruption on the roads due to storm).

Had a wonderful time with them .... gorgeous meal
out yesterday. Though the weather was very
strange - sunshine, heavy rain and hail then back to
sunshine again! Ho hum!

Sorry to hear that your arthritis is so bad rose - sending
gentle (((hugs))) to you. :A

Hope you are feeling a bit better today rose and hope everyone is surviving the storm. Everything is OK here and sun supposed to come out.
Had bother getting DD an Easter egg yesterday but did manage and got her a bag of little eggs too as she loves them so been forgiven!
She was doing some holiday comps yesterday, she sometimes used to win on the girl's mag that wingo used to post.
Hope everyone has a nice day anyway.

Here DD2 has done a few but mainly for days out, holidays seem too complicated with school children. Anyway she has had a football and shirt win on the Walkers.
