Good morning all, some lovely pics again today thanks. LOL firefly, 2 mornings running I was about to post the same pic and had to change it. I always find my pic before I come on to the Inn so I don't have to mess about.

Well we had an email saying we were No 1 for the flat with the usual email saying that it doesn't necesserily be offered it if you are 1, 2 or 3 so just have to wait now until they contact us.

DD has dropped off the GK's for the day so she can study as she has loads of Uni work to do as its her final year. We are taking them to breakfast then probably bake some cakes with them.

Morning peeps. Dull morning here . Hugs to all who are suffering from storm. Thank goodness we didn't have it up here. Didn't sleep much to uncomfortable. Oh leanfun it is not funny is it when it flares up. This has been one of my worst. Usually can cope. Hoping everyone has a lucky day and there is not too much damage from wind and rain. Keep safe.

Just rebooked a Royal Mail Delivery it's a parcel. Couldn't get to door on Friday to get it off postie. It is coming on wednesday and don't want to bother anyone to go to office for me. So fingers crossed.

Goodness my house is getting like Picadilly Circus lol. DS and GK's have just been in. Kids made me a card and brought some tulips (Bless them) DS brought me a salad bowl from Morrisons for lunch. Don't know how much he thinks I eat there is enough to feed an army. They are of to the local funFair in Strathclyde Park. Told him he better check it is open as there was a problem with one of their big rides and people had to be rescued by Fire Brigade. DIL is off to pictures later with two of her friends so DS and kids are coming back here.. They are bringing KFC with them looking forward to that. Off to attempt to clear out e/mail folder as it has a nightmare number of e/mails in it. Might find a winner fingers crossed. ( one six days worth )

Everything is fine here after the storm, thank
goodness!

The family had lunch before wending their way
home. Fingers 'n paws crossed they have a safe and
trouble free journey.

We had a good check round and luckily no further damage
to report. On local news there are some places not so far
from me that have had so much damage, unbelievable! :eek:
Also others who are still without electricity. I count myself
as one of the luckier ones - the storm has now passed us by
and it's turned out warm and sunny!

Forgot to say very well done fire**fly on your bottle of
wine win and also posh shower/bath smellies from the
raffle! They will make a lovely birthday pressie for your
SIL. :j:j:j

indie - hope work was ok - sorry to hear that you also
suffer with arthritis - it causes so much pain. Fingers
crossed that it was only a couple of fence panels that
were blown down in the storm - and touch wood your
conservatory roof behaves itself! :eek::eek:

Evening peeps. Had a nice few hours with Ds and GK's. They have gone home now as back to school tomorrow for the rest of the week then they are off for a further two weeks. No babysitting though as DS is off for the next three weeks. Any winners today?

DD1 RANG - KEYS FOUND. Thank goodness its always a worry went they go missing not knowing who has them. She moved the bed sette where we sleep and found them. That will save us having to buy a new car key.

Forgot to say well done on the wine and smellies win at your do firefly.

Had a really busy day with GK's today, took them out for a breakfast treat, baked cakes with them and they helped me pack son boxes. AT least it kept them occupied.
