Hope all was ok at the vet, Alfie. Apparently you should try and put difficult cats in their carrier backwards so they can't see where they're going - but how you're meant to do that without having your face scratched off I don't know!!

Good morning all, where is everyone today? I'm usually the last one in on account of me not getting up early LOL.

We are off to town soon to get some shopping and have a cuppa.

Been so busy chasing up points and cash back today I forgot to pop in Sylvia! Love your squirrel.
I keep looking at my ironing pile but really can't be bothered.....

Thanks all re vet visit! :A Well, as predicted I had a
slight (cough) struggle getting puddy into the carrier but
managed it eventually!

April, my carrier has an end opening and a top opening :eek:
needless to say I fail miserably re both openings and she
now has this trick (when I put her in via the top opening)
of clinging on to anything that is within her reach with the
talons! :eek:



She was cursing all the way to the vets and all the way
back! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

All went well though, vet said she is in peak condition,
her weight is spot on (last year I must admit she became
a bit of a porky) so I put her on a subtle diet of James
Wellbeloved Light food, dried turkey flavour ....
'mmmmm scrumptious! Anyway, it's done the trick
and puddy loves the food so all is well. Also she had
her jab etc. Funnily enough she couldn't wait to get back
into the carrier when it was time to return home ....
typical! :whistle:

Once home she was purring away and cuddling up to
me - I presume that was her way of saying 'you're
forgiven Mummy'! I'm just thankful that it's only
once a year to the vets! :eek:

she said it was getting busy in the supermarkets & folks
were already stocking up for easter weekend :eek:

Have you got all your things stocked for Easter then firefly. We are just having the usual family Sunday lunch with DD1 and family. DD2 & GD are coming next Tuesday for a few day to help sort out the plants we wants from the garden as it would be a shame to leave them all here. We have bid on another flat this week for fingers and paws crossed this time. I have rang to check about taking Lottie this time just to make sure.

did an order on Monday for delivery early Friday,
think our local little co-ops open anyway if needing anything,
will be nice to take the plants you want with you to new place
