I'm baaaaack!

Wedding service was lovely, and food at reception was amazing (they even had special dairy free alternatives for me, yay!), but we left when the dancing started! Stopped off in Cumbria overnight on Saturday and got home at lunchtime yesterday. Need to catch up on my sleep now before work tomorrow!

lovely and very thoughtful of them to provide dairy
free alternatives at the buffet reception for you. :T:T

Yes ....Easter will soon be here - not long now! I've
got Easter eggs for my lovely family all sorted and
stashed away. They are descending here over
the Easter weekend - will be lovely to see them all
again! :j

Awww - love the little Yorkie pics you have been
finding for sylv fire**fly! The Little Miss Yorkie one is
gorgeous!

Well, time for me to crack on - will quickly do some
comps then off out to the garden for a while!

Morning everyone,
Been rushing about trying to get things done. Car Insurance now top of list as cheeky company have put premium up from £170 to £270 - NO CHANCE! Found some for £170 so will need to get that sorted quickly.
Anyway, had a lovely time thanks and weather was fantastic (temperature gone down loads since we left!) Journey home a bit fraught in Tenerife with Thomas Cook bus late and check in desks ridiculous. We stood in queque for over an hour before finally got pulled forward at side with less than 50 mins to get through security and get bused to plane. We weren't alone either - livid! Everything fine at Newcastle though and got away in record time. So much to sort out now we are back though. DS3 had forgotten to get milk and bread for starters so DH had to nip down first thing.


Glad you had lovely time April.


Will speak later as want to do the ironing which is kicking about before wash loads come back in. Sun out here too.

It was actually a sit down meal, and they called me by name when they brought out my food, so I was very impressed with the service! I had thought I'd get the usual boring fruit salad for dessert that I usually end up with at times like these, but they gave me a little chocolate cupcake with strawberries instead of the wedding cake and ice cream everyone else got!


The post just arrived while I was in the shower, and I've won a Cowshed cow pat hand cream from a Stylist competition - woo! (or should that be moo?!) Came at the right time as my hands are raw at the moment!
My first win of the year, hooray!

Well done on the win, i got one in the post as well and it smells lovely. I also won a FB comp with Daxon. A busy bee ornament.Nice start to the week.
