:hello: Good morning everyone!

I hope you're all well. The weather day at the mo looks
quite decent although rain has been predicted for this
afternoon - we shall see!

The birds are happy enough ... I can hear them singing
away - obviously reminding me to top up their feeders and
put fresh water in the bird baths! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I do
love the lighter mornings though - it's great to have an
early start on things.

Awful time for your family leanfun - I've never
heard of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome - so sad. Pleased

Really annoyed this morning. Ordered my brothers birthday present to be delivered today but set delivery address to ny nans as thats where i am on a thursday and he is close by so wanted him to have it before he goes away this weekend. Anyway order confirmation has correct delivery address on but the dispatch email says it is going to my house. Can't contact courier til 8 to see where it is going. Will be cross if going to wrong address as paid extra for specific day delivery and won't be in and then also means will be late getting it to my brother. Grrrr.

Anyway hope you are all well and that you have lovely Easter weekends

Raining away here - first for about 2 weeks I think. DH is taking the bus to go and get his eyes tested so not very happy! He gets drops in his eyes so isn't supposed to drive for a while afterwards. Don't suppose he will get that much wetter in bus as couldn't get parked near the opticians anyway.


Hope parcel goes to correct address Becks, annoying when things go wrong.

Well both courier and sender have confirmed it is going to correct address. No idea what my dispatch email is all about then but never mind. So long as it all works right and I get package today.

Sylvia hope your DH's visit to opticians goes well. Mine has to go too as last night he stood on his glasses and can't fix them! These are for longsight and he does have spares, so I won't have to lead him there as happened to you Sylvia.

Becks hope your parcel arrives ok.

Thanks to FireFly last week talking about online shopping I booked delivery for today. Yesterday we had email to say we could change order up to 4 th Jan. Sometimes these things just go wrong.

We thought DD2 and family might come for Easter but they have been ill with colds and not eating. First children now adults. They might come after Easter or we go there.

DD1 here had it all last week and is picking up. So apart from church not sure what is happening here over Easter.

Sheils hope you are settled back at home.

Hi everyone, just starting to rain here now and looks set to rain most of the Easter few days too.

Well done on your Celebrity Angels win firefly, I hope you have thanked yoursef he he.

Big hugs for all your family today leanfun, it must be a hard time for you all.

Keep meaning to mention firefly/Alfie, I get an Amarilis every year as I think they are so beautiful and have had fantastic flowers on them but can never seem to get them to flower again however much I try. This year out of one of the flower stems has grown another little step with a seed pod on it. DD1 has sent me an email with a link showing what to do with it, so hoping I have time to sort it this time.

Hope your parcel arrives at the right place and time Becks, nice to see you in the Inn.

Hope DH is not too grumpy when he gets back from the Optitions after having to catch the bus Sheils.

Raining here now.

DH has come back and has to go back at five for eye test and new glasses!

Just had DS and GD on Skype from Ohio. They are all fine great to be able to see and talk to them and it's free.

Arrgh, leanfun - glasses are never the same once you've stood on them! I knelt on mine once!

Had an incredible waste of a day here. Guy was meant to come at 9.30am to attach shower panels to the wall of the bathroom as per landlord's request, didn't turn up til after 1pm, spent an hour faffing about and not achieving anything, then said he needed to go and pick up glue and an extension cord and would be back within the hour. He didn't come back for an hour and 15 mins and was holding a coffee! Spent the next hour and a half cutting the panels to size and sweeping up the dust, and has just gone saying it's now too late to put them up today!! So he's coming back tomorrow and it will take all day apparently... I'm so mad! I haven't been out all day and I haven't been able to achieve much! Oh, and he's taken down the shower holder, so I have to somehow hold the showerhead above me in the morning!
(sorry, rant over - needed to vent somewhere!)
