Bit frosty here again, you would think it was winter!
My tumble dryer is making strange noises FF but working fine. Have googled and sounds like ball bearings but it isn't young and has had a hard life so not fixing it. Reluctant to buy a new one though as don't use it that often now there are usually only 2 of us here. Will get one when it finally dies!
Waiting on IHG releasing a preview of their special 5K point deals - have over 60k points to spend at moment even after spending lots on 7 other stays for later this year .IHG being generous to us but can't last. Hopefully released at mid day and there will be some interesting hotels on it.
Hope everyone has a lucky day. I could do with a decent win if you are listening comping fairy (pretty please!)

Good morning/afternoon everyone, hope you are all OK today, hugs for anyone needing them.

We could do with a tumble dryer this weather Sheils but have nowhere to put it in the kitchen.

That's good that you can use the wash/dry facilities all you want firefly. Nice to see the cupboards full istn't it just in case the weather gets bad.

Its really cold here and was -1 all night according to my phone but at least its dry which is a lot to be thankful for.

Must get on and get some comps done. Good luck for the end of the month everyone.

but now it's gone a bit pear shaped! Quite dullish and
rather manky but thankfully dry and not so brrrr as it was
yesterday.

Sheils, they don't make dryers to last nowadays. Like you I've had mine for years but I couldn't do without it in winter.
Good luck with getting more bargain breaks.

Got some Tesco shopping too today fire**fly drool: didn't think this month would ever end! I felt like I was constantly running round farmfoods for a top up shop!

I agree Sylvia, I think it is really cold and does feel -1 deg. I've had a polo neck jumper as well as a jumper over in school today and it's normally warm in school. My sister has that underfloor heating in her kitchen and when she wants clothes dry, she lays them out overnight on kitchen floor!

Well I took my scratch card back today and got another £2 one and won £40 So that's my lovely little win of January!

Great news everyone. The ASA who I wrote to about not receiving my £1400 earrings have sorted it out and they are now on their way and I have a tracking number.

Morning,
great news about the earrings Sylvia,you have waited long enough.Well done on the scratch card wingo.I have never won more than a fiver on them.
I have today off and it's raining,but don't mind as it's not cold and rain does mean no frost. Got food shopping to do then catch up with housework. Hope you all have a good weekend.
