Home again hopefully I do not have to venture out once more. Have a list of childrens comps that I will e/mail over to GK's so that will keep them out of their dads hair on Saturday while DIL is at work. He has bought a shed and DIL's brother is coming over to help him put it together (He's a joiner to trade) so no doubt I will get a phone call mum can you cook me something for dinner lol. Anymore winners today?

Love the dog fairy pic Alfie :D I won a tenner on a scratch card so it was a lucky poop!

Well done on the pen win indie :T I'm like you and go through lots of black pens, or rather son takes them all to school!

That fog has been down your way for a few days now fire**fly hasn't it? I know my niece travelled to London to work and it took her 7hrs to get there from here in the northeast! It must be scary driving about in fog.
I'm glad to say it's been bright and sunny here today :)

Any news on when son goes back to work Rose? It must be nice for you and the family having him home. Enjoy your cooking! :D I hope my son comes back home for dinners once in while when he gets married or whatever he does with his life!

My brother and his family have booked up on holiday where we went last year and he's asking us to go. I would love to but I don't finish work until the schools break up but they are going before that.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Wingo he will be away again later in the year. No date as RN and sub force do not give that. Wingo he goes to work every day lol. Has most weekend off when he is at home but still has to go for testing etc with his sub. Saw a misfire on the news with a nuclear sub. We do not have to worry about that as when they do it they are dummies we do not fire nuclear anything at ourselves or anything else willy nily there is a code that has to be put in. The prime minister sends the code but only with loads of checks. It will never be done hopefully but there are other governments that love the trigger. Hence why we have to be aware of the idiots. Donald Trump comes to mind. He may have made a fortune on the back of his family i.e. Father. Grandather. Even China is wary. Sorry for the politics speel.

He was on leave sylvia but still has to go to work in between deployments. He does not get months of between. lol I would have joined the armed forces if I got months of at a time. Sorry if I have explained it wrongly.

    Hi everyone,
We are back home now. We had a lovely sunny morning at Stirling and walked up to the Wallace Monument and about for a little while before heading back. Was pretty dull and cloudy as we got nearer home.

Well done on the pen win indie. I have been trying to chase the one I won at the end of November as it never turned up. WEM was a no reply email address.

Shame you can't go on the holiday wingo. It is lovely when you don't need to go away in school holidays. We used to always fly from Newcastle or Manchester before the English schools broke up as we aren't close to the Scottish Airports anyway.

Cars not starting are a pain Sylvia. We used to run two cars when we were both working and remember one month both needing batteries charged as they were only running up and down to the town and sometimes we walked when it was nice. We got rid of a car after that. Don't think we have ever had to buy a battery though.

Stopped at Tesco on the way home so trying to decide what to have for dinner as will need to cook myself tonight. Love being cooked for and especially by one of my chef sons. We did insist on paying though as we would have had to pay somewhere else and it wouldn't have been as high quality.
