    Hi everyone,

Had a nice night away and back home now. We did a lot of walking yesterday - more than we meant really. Have got blisters on the soles of my feet! Enjoyed ourselves anyway and had lovely meal with half price mains in Bella Italia. Stopped at Gretna retail outlet and bought a few things also managed to find a malfunctioning cash machine so spent a bit of time at the bank this afternoon trying to reclaim the money.

Well done on your DVD win Sylvia.

Great you had a nice day Alfie. It was foggy from about half way home today and still like that now. Have fun with the DIY. DD and her bf been doing out their spare room so they can move into it.

Well done on the soup & mug win Sheils :j Where is this comp that everyone's winning on? :D

Welcome back to comping iheartpcd and fingers crossed for that holiday win again xx

Leanfun and Sylvia I hope your DD and DS get better soon xx This flu bug is horrible and takes ages to get rid of. I had a cold at the weekend but even that takes it out of you, I've never felt so tired but struggling to sleep too! Well done on the DVD win Sylvia :)

That foot spa looks nice fire**fly ;) You can't beat soaking them in a dish! I wanted a foot spa for so long so when I got one last year I think I used it 3 times! :o Its more of a hassle filling and emptying it and it's very noisy too! :D

Hope you get a break in Rome again Rose :) I've never been there but it looks nice in brochures.

Sounds like you've had a good day sheils. Did you manage to get some bargains in the metro? Good for you booking a bargain break :) Hope you manage to sort out the cash machine thing and got your money back.

Alfie you're not happy until you've got a tin of paint in your hand! :p (Sounds a bit like my hubby....he's not happy until he's got the remote control in his hand! ) Good luck with the painting etc though but do take it easy :) I'm glad I never watched that embalming thing on tv _pale_ it reminds me of years ago when they used to pose them in photos with their eyes open as though they're still alive!

Nothing much happening here. I managed to put my job app in but I'm not holding out for anything as it seems they don't want to give job I'm already doing with the complex kiddies. I need more hours and something more permanent so I'm looking around.
Fingers crossed for a win this week everyone!

Evening peeps. Decided to move my bedroom around (not that I can change it that much as have built in wardrobes. Room is pretty big though 12' x 14'. and whilst moving chest of drawers think I have pulled a muscle in my back. I am going about a bit lop sided at the moment as it is sore when I straighten up. Going to have a soak in the bath later and see if it eases it off.

Hope you have all had a good day.

Hope your DS is better soon leanfun, DD has been signed off for 2 weeks.

Sorry to hear you have pulled something moving the chest of drawers Rose. I am in the wars too today as I slipped on some mud on the path in town and landed on my hip and hand. The inside of my hand is swollen and bruised and very painful and going up my arm too. Won't be doing any knitting tonight!

I do hope that you can find something you enjoy and is more permanent soon Wingo.

Catch you all tomorrow, sleep tight.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS
