it does take a while for the birds to show
when having a new feeding station but sounds like
you're def getting them as the foods going down :A
hopefully they'll get braver & start showing up when you're
at home watching them :j

Our birds have been using the neighbours more than ours recently buy we still get some in our garden. My big disappointment though is that yesterday when I looked out of the window, the tree in a neighbours garden they liked to sit in and where i took photos of most of the new visitors, had come down in the bad weather

Up early today, didn't sleep too bad so happy to get up. DH says I was making lots of noises in sleep as if I was being murdered and had better not do it tonight in hotel! He has gone back to sleep.

Hope you get to watch the birds soon Sylvia. Think we have extra brave birds about here as they will hardly move when we walk past them in the garden.
Shame about the tree becks. We had to get a large Rowan tree cut down
as it was dead and the birds were lost without it. Two Doves used to sit on the fence next to where it used to be even when it was bucketing down. Take it they used to sit there and be sheltered when the tree was there. Do miss the tree - used to see birds eating berries from it etc.

Well I have joined you in winning a mug and soup FF. Nice to get a win even if a small one!

Did a bit of booking yesterday for the end of June and think I did really well. Decided we wanted to see the tall ships at Liverpool so looked to book Hoylake which is right beside a beautiful beach and handy for Liverpool and the seaside resort of New Brighton. It was nearly £300 for 3 nights at the IHG hotel but I managed to get it with 45K of points so free really. Also booked 4 nights at a caravan site in County Durham for the nights before using my Tesco vouchers and £39. Quite pleased with myself!
Well must get on as we want to head off quite early and get a nice walk along the River Tyne before we go to the Metro Centre.

Your birds will get braver - just keep the food topped up -
they'll quickly get to know where there's a hearty meal to
be had!

The birds in my garden are fairly tame now and when I'm
out digging etc I'm always accompanied by a robin - waiting
for a tasty morsel!

8 years! It was nice to log back in this month and see I've been a member for 8 years! I've probably just come back from the longest break ever! I've been off comps from may - Dec, but I'm back for a good go now!

I kind of gave up, my ultimate goal was always to win a holiday abroad.. and you betcha I finally got the call...I won a trip to Jamaica May time last year, but the dates never worked out for me due to other commitments and the prize was given to someone else, I guess that's what caused me to go on such a long break..! Disappointment is still strong!,

Fingers crossed for another holiday, even if I am waiting for another 7 years! Good luck all, thank you to all the posters - I will try to get back to posting them too!
