Afternoon everyone. Still chilly here but no rain or snow. Wellcome back iheartpcd. Hope your luckier this time round. Enjoy your break shiels. Been looking at holidays for later in the year and quite fancy going back to Malta. Been a few years since I was last there. Hope everyone is well and those who are poorly are perking up a bit.

Is anyone watching Extreme Embalming on Channel 5. I am finding it very bizzarre.

Very late in today, been another busy time. Went over to DD2's as she still isnt really well, her glands are all swollen etc.

Been to Malta a couple of times Rose, once when the kids were small and had a fab time with fab weather. Went a few years ago but it was in their Winter and it rained for 10 days, we had booked for 5 weeks but came home after 10. Everyone huddled in the hotel reception around a little gas heater as the rooms were cold and damp. Think it put me off which is a shame as it is a lovely place.

Hi, iHeart nice to see you in the Inn and back to comping, you are very welcome to join in.

What a shame about the tree falling Becks, lets hope they find another place to rest their legs.

Morning everyone. Hope you are well and for those who have the lurgy (hugs). Cold and damp here still. Was going to go out to shops for a few things but can't be bothered. (They are non urgent) So on with comping I go. Have a lovely day peeps.

Morning, suns out here and it's not too cold. Just took Sons girlfriend for a dentist appointment. Going to potter around in the garden now.

It was a sunny day here but we didn't venture out.

DH and I are ok thanks Sylvia just a bit tired. Hope your DD2 is better soon. Our DS has still not been well. Well done on your CTW DVD win.

Rose, we went to Malta end of Jan two years ago. It had been very cold there and they had had a lot of rain but was picking up when we went. We stayed on the West of the Island and found with a cheap weekly ticket we could easily travel on the buses. We had been a few times years before and were very sad by the changes we saw. Hotel we stayed at was brilliant. However much of the Island looked very run down especially Valletta. Only the richer areas around St Julian's and that area looked good. I don't know if it was lack of sun.

This month seems to be going really quickly.

Hope you've all had a lovely Tuesday.


It's been a beautiful weather day here - sunshine and
blue skies.


I've been a fairly busy bee - popped in to see a lovely
friend and hubby who are off on a cruise for a month -
lucky beggers!


Also treated myself to a few decorating bits n' bobs
including tins of paint - matt/eggshell finish etc to start
sprucing up some rooms in my abode that are looking a
bit neglected.


Between decorating and gardening - should keep me
out of trouble for some time to come! :whistle:

But .... it did ring a bell so googled it just now and must have
seen the programme (or similar) a while back cos I've
recognised a lot of the images and the stories attached to
them! Each to their own I suppose. :eek::eek:

family arranged for him to greet mourners standing :eek:



^^^ Party lover Miriam Marie Birkbank was posed at a
table with her favourite beer after she died at 53 :eek::eek::eek:
