Sorry to hear of all those feeling ill xx lots of bugs going around as usual this time of year.

Fire**fly, I steam cleaned my kitchen floor too as it was filthy off the dog but someone said to put zoflora in the floor cleaner and it smelled lovely!
It's the bathroom tiles I dread steam cleaning!

Hope your DD and GD is feeling better soon too Alfie xx I was glad to get my decs down on the 2nd to have a good clean round. Isn't it funny though how everyone scarpers when you decide to take tree & decs down! They're quick to want them up but don't like putting them away!

Sheils, hope it's not too windy in Blackpool! Especially if you're having ice cream!

Got a nice cosy bed to myself while DH is on nights tonight. I'll be wrapping that quilt right round me! It's definitely chilly enough for snow tonight!

gosh, yes, it's tomorrow the trad day for taking the decs down
i think though I saw the staff clearing the community
room ones all away today,
I took mine down yesterday while having the clean &
cards/paper/anything that can be recycled has gone
to recycling bin :dance:


lol, that's true wingo everyone does seem to love
putting the decs etc up & seem to disappear when it's
clean up time :eek::D

Firefly I too had been wondering about Rose. Know she will have been very busy over Christmas and New Year especially with DS home. Hope she's ok.

Well we came home late afternoon. DS is a bit better. He'll have to take GKs to school on bus tomorrow and more frost forecast.

DD needed help this evening and tomorrow.

Really tired now. Off to bed soon. Enjoy wrapping up Wingo.

Morning, well done on the wins yesterday.Great start to the year.We have had the sickness bug in work,seems to be everywhere at the moment. Touch wood i don't get it.It's a frosty one here today but the sun is out so it should soon clear.I have today off so time to do some housework and washing.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Decs all down and packed away for another year. Strangely
it took me less time to take them down than when I put
them up before Xmas. :whistle:

I would love for the Monopoly money to be real too Wingo -
except ..... I've never won so maybe not such a good idea

hiya Alfie :wave: lol, talking of taking decs down quickly
I once knew someone who used to cover her tree
over with all the trimmings on & put it in the
attic so each time she only had to fetch it out :eek::rotfl:
I once said to her but isn't it supposed to be fun
decorating the tree each year,
can't repeat what she said back to me lol,
it was along the lines of 'I've better things to
be doing instead..
with a few choice words in :eek::rotfl:
