Thanks so much for the lovely get well poem firefly it was lovely. Am feeling more myself today and have to go and look after DH's DD2 as she has a kidney infection! It seems one after the other is going down with something at the moment.
I would be well annoyed with my DH if he shot his dinner in the bin after I had gone to the effort of cooking for him Wingo. I do hope that your migrane is better and you can get a good day in before returning to work tomorrow.
Enjoy your time away Sheils and hope the weather is kind so you can get some walking in.
Sorry to hear your family has been poorly too leanfun and hope they get better soon.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Afternoon everyone. Hugs for everyone who is and has been poorly.Lot's of germs around at the moment, think a lot of it is the weather. We spotted a bee flying around when i was at work sunday..Had to look twice as never known them around this early in the year before.I have been busy today, went shopping and filled freezer up.Then popped to Tesco's and treated myself to a steamer.Got lot's of veg there as well. Son and girlfriend want to eat more veg so no excuse not to now...lol. Just having a coffee break before i do some housework as back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day.0

 Hi everyone
It's been a beautiful day here today but my goodness it's
chilly! Brrrrrr!
Sending big ((hugs)) to those not so well - I think
you're right indie - about the weather and the amount
of germs doing the rounds!
Mother nature seems confused too - so many plants in
flower that don't usually surface for a good few months -
and the Bumblebee you spotted - although apparently
they can survive the winter months so long as they've
got enough energy - bit of a problem though as they get
most of the energy from flower nectar and that's not
always available in the winter. Poor bees.
Brilliant you buying a steamer plus loads of veggies - as
you say .... no excuses now!
Wonderful that you're feeling a bit better today sylv - please
take care though. :A
Sounds as if yesterday was brilliant sheils! Have a lovely
time on your break. :j
Is your DS any better today leanfun? Good to hear that he
had picked up a little bit yesterday. The balloons and tennis
sound a great way to entertain especially when it's wet
outside - hope you managed to get some rest too. xx
Know what you mean wingo about Christmas flying by!
Lol at your DH - I would have been so tempted to fish it out
of the bin (when he wasn't looking) and serve it up to him
tonight!Naughty me!

Did anyone happen to see that 'The Phoney G Show'
was a total F-to-the-L-to-the-O-to-the-P. :T :j
Ho hum - what a shame, such is life.
Well, had best go and try to catch up with comps.
Have a lovely evening all and take care.

Good evening everyone, hope you have had a good day.
Spent most of ours at DH's DD2's as she has been really poorly with kidney infection and has picked up this bug too.
Haven't seen a bee at this time of year either Indie. We have a ladybird that seems to have made its home in the lampshade in our our lounge, its seems quite happy there too.
Sorted out my birdtable yesterday firefly as family got me lots of fat balls and bird seed etc for Christmas. We seem to be getting a few robbins so hopefully they will come to the bird table outside my kitchen window now.
Anyone had a January win in the Inn yet or have I just missed your posts?BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Good Morning all,
Enjoying our 1st break of 2017. Roads were really busy yesterday so took us about 40mins longer than usual to get to Southport. Was really busy here and had bit of bother getting parked as shoppers using hotel parking. Had a lovely walk around half of marine lake and then went shopping and had fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and cuppa for dinner. Receptionist recommended the cafe, it was tucked away and we had never noticed it before in all the years we have been coming. Well used by the locals I think.
Going to go shopping this morning and then finish walking round the lake. Brewer's Fayre sent me voucher for free meal yesterday so will use that tonight as we are right beside one.
Hope everyone well today.
Good Luck
