We had beautiful weather over the Christmas period but
then came the dreaded fog - one day it didn't clear at all! :eek:

Had a brilliant festive time with my lovely family - stayed up
last night to see the new year in etc - strangely got up at my
usual time this morning (5.00'ish) - don't feel tired at all - guess
I'm still buzzing! Luckily got a fairly lazy day today just
sorting out bits n' bobs, updating calendars etc.

Have a wonderful day whatever you have planned - I'll catch
up later.

There was nothing much on the box so half way through a game of monopoly (again) was when I was getting a migraine so couldn't wait to get to bed! I texted all my family to let them know so they didn't disturb me but got woken a few times by MIL phoning! So I didn't get rid of migraine until late this morning.

Alfie, sounds like you've had a great time over Xmas with your family It just goes too quick I think!

I keep forgetting what day it is! I'm back at work Tuesday though.
I cooked a big dinner today and texted DH to say if he's on a break, I was doing a dinner but will save him one. He texted back to say he was coming home now as I was about to put it it out. He looked at the big plate of dinner I gave him and said...'I can't eat this, I've had a dinner at work!' :mad: If he hadn't have shot it in the bin I would have wrapped it up for his dinner tomorrow!

Here DS is a bit better but only a little bit. We are taking them home tomorrow as like Wingo it's school on Tuesday.

Been raining here most of day. We blew up balloons and they played tennis in the back room this afternoon. Really tired now. GD still awake.

Good Morning,

Had a lovely day yesterday and it was lovely and sunny. Couldn't believe how wet it looked everytime I saw an event on the news. We had a nice little buffet and couple of drinks at my parents with my youngest sister and her partner and our roast chicken dinner went down well with DD and her partner at night time. We also got the decorations down.
It is still a holiday here so will be nice to get to Southport where it should just be a normal day. Get a bit fed up of everything being shut.

Hope you are feeling a lot better today Sylvia and that everyone else is well. Maybe there will be some late Advent winners announced.
