Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good day. We went out shopping this morning and been busy around the flat all afternoon. Snow this morning was on the cars but didn't really stick on the roads.

which will suit me fine cos I've got such a lot to do today -
rushing here, there and everywhere plus must catch up
with comps too.

I see a certain person (who shall remain nameless )

has already started to back-track :whistle: and
statements previously made have mysteriously been
deleted from his public profile.

Well - must just make another cuppa before my day
begins!

Good Morning,
Looking nice here too Alfie although still cold at the moment. Think it is going to heat up a bit for the next few days. We should get into the garden too but think we will just go for a walk!
Looks like they had heavy snow in the area we are going to on Sunday so glad to see it has vanished.

It's brightened up here now but was raining earlier.

Alfie let's hope Trump does loads of back tracking and that he appoints a good team of people to key positions.

We are going to be very busy over next few days helping DS and DD1. So much for thinking I'd catch up with some comps. Will pop in when I can.

Sheils I am totally useless when it comes to naming places! There was a local comp come through the post and I even had to ask what the name of the buildings were in the comp! I'd be no good in a maze!

I struggle now with crosswords and word searches fire**fly as my eyes are worse now close up so my contact lenses/glasses are only useful for distances.

Alfie I agree, the whole trump thing is a big farce. There are lots of funny things going about on FB like the video which looks like him in Hilary singing 'I've had the time of my life'. In reality though it isn't funny and if I was American I would be worried having him run the country! Apparently that ancient blind Prophet Vanga who predicted 911 also predicted the orange man of America and that Obama would be the last US president too. And apparently....the Simpsons predicted Trump to be president years ago too!

Has anyone seen the John Lewis advert? Oh it's really good with the boxer dog in. It's funny this year instead of sad.

Hi everyone, sorry didnt get in earlier. Got woke with a phone call from DIL asking me to take her hubby to Ashton-under-Lyme (I think) to look at a van he had seen for his plumbing business. Then all the electric went off before we could even get a cupper and didnt get back until 4 for GD coming from school with tea still to get so been busy busy.

Lost another 1.5 lb at SW tonight so well pleased with that.

Glad today has not been too bad for you firefly and hope you are not feeling too weery after the extra work today.

Sounds like you are going to be busy over the next few days leanfun helping the family out.

You are still busy with your garden I see Alfie. At least here we get out leaves cleared for us by ground maintenance.
