That's good of your neighbour to help out too fire**fly :) Hope you get your strength back soon xx

Sheils, I tried having a go at that jet2 comp to win flights but I only got 2 the first go! :o I tried again and got 5 but I'm useless when it comes to places!

Well done on the book win indie :j Hope it's a good read for you.

Leanfun, I've heard lots of people saying 'The girl on the train' is really good. The film is on the pics now but the book is £3.99 in sainsburys. I saw it for £6.99 in WHSmith. I want to get the book on Mary Ann Cotton like the drama 'Dark Angel' that was on last night, I really enjoyed watching it.

Hope you and DH are well Sylvia :)

Well not long now before this election drama is over, sick of watching them two hypocrites on tv. I feel sorry for the Americans having them as president! I did like Obama though.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Well done on book win indie and hope you enjoy the pressure cooker leanfun, I used to like mine but haven't had one for years.

Glad you have help with the Zoo FF. Did you go back to see the Dr?

Wingo "Dark Angel" is on Kindle at 99p as DH bought it today. He still has loads in Amazon from voucher presents. He is enjoying reading it as it gives more facts. Had to laugh at your discription of Trump and Clinton - sums them up really. Jet2 comp is quite difficult if you don't know most of the places. I have been to quite a few but some I still find difficult as there is nothing special about them.

Morning peeps. Bit dull here but not so cold. Must stop looking at qvc as just bought a load of candles just in case someone pops in at christmas that I do not know about. Love my candles so they will not go to waste if no surprises turn up.

    Morning cold and raining here.

World gone crazy today oh well the Americans.

Wingo last year I won a pile of books from a train company including The Girl on the Train. Everyone was raving about it but I didn't rate it that much and could not see what all the fuss was about. Hearing about the film I thought hope that is better.

Pleased you are in the mend Firefly.

Had some snow and ice last night and some rain but looking dry now.
Had a really bad night last night, couldn't get to sleep at all. Got up at 2am and did some comps before going back to bed at 3.30am and still couldn't sleep. Did doze off and on later although obviously wanted to keep sleeping at 7.45am when DH got up to make tea!
Wasn't that surprised at Trump being voted in - world is going mad!
Hearing Hillary's shrieking voice and looking at Trump's hair got so irritating so at least get rid of the voice now.

Glad your Dr looking after you FF.

    Have a lucky day.

Afternoon peeps. What are the Americans doing. If anyone is going to push the button it is him. Think his wig is on a high.

    Hellooeee everyone!

Hope you're all ok and so pleased that you are slowly
regaining your strength fire**fly and that the doc is taking
    good care of you. :j

We didn't get the predicted rain yesterday until well into
the evening .... it's been dry but windy here today so
no prizes for guessing what I've been doing ....

    feuille2.gif

Like everyone else ..... I was gobsmacked when Trump
was elected as President. Never saw it coming!

I was listening to my radio this morning (re Trump) and
apparently if someone had put a £5 bet on the three
'results' of Leicester City Football Club, Brexit and Trump
becoming President .... they would have netted themselves
    a cool 12 million quid! :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:j Well done on your book win yesterday indie! :j

Enjoy your pressure cooker leanfun - love homemade
soup  - much nicer than the canned variety!

Have a lovely rest of the day all and take care ... I'm off
    to make a cuppa. :D
