Good afternoon all. Well it was lovely and sunny when we went out this morning early on and wished I had put the washing out but it has changed now and not fit to put it out LOL. Went for a coffee at Asda and went to find out where the hospital is as not been to it before. God there OK but got lost coming back somehow. Anyway doesnt look too bad a route.

Well done on your flight win Sheils, what a super win for you. Would be good if you could use it towards a holiday for next year. Think you should check how much the holiday is online as a package first before ringing them and then they can't shuffle the price IYKWIM.

Good you have a few days off work Indie and enjoy your time and relax.

Thanks everyone re SW. Did blip yesterday but back on track today, veg soup in the Soup Maker for lunch and a SW chillie recipe for tea with some quorn. Suposed to have at least 1/3 of the plate filled with veg, salad etc which is what they call speed food. That doesn't include potato of course.

Oh well must get on. Have a lovely day everyone.

Still trying to sort out the earring win with no-one replying at the moment.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Well ready to hit the cold outside although sun is still shining. Going in car but still will be out in cold once I get there. Leggings on under trousers. Thermal top under jumper. Thermal gloves in bag. Scarf at the ready. And thermal fleece for under coat. So well prepared lol.

    Hi everyone!

It's a chilly, windy but beautiful day here .... been out
gardening. Gave lawns a light mow, scooped up as many
fallen leaves as I could but as quickly as I was picking up
the blighters, loads more blew off the trees!

Think I'll be clearing up leaves for quite a while yet. :p

Thanks everyone! Got a package booked to Majorca for a week now at begining of May. Checked it all out before I phoned Sylvia! Really pleased with the price as I chose really good flights and upgraded to Half Board and a Sea View Apartment all for £782 for 7 nights. Also checked the price on Thomas Cook and it was about £1300 for the same thing!
Girl was really good and offered to book the day before as it was cheaper. Had already considered that but the flights weren't as nice. First booking for next year on my blank sheet :j

Home again was not as cold as I thought it was going to be so was toasty warm. Went in to see cousin in Boots and she is going to make me up a bag of perfume/aftershave/makeup from different brands. I put these in to crackers for adults at dinner table. Got a 20ml sample of chanel 19 for myself my favourate. Just have to buy things to make up kids crackers now. Luckily two of the kids are 14 and 18 so they can get the same as the grown ups now. Just four littlies to get for. Went in to party shop and got the bang things for crackers paper and ribbon so that is done. Did and iceland shop it is coming between 7-9pm. Got a few other things done so happy with my productive afternoon.

Shiels there are so many of them now have to be organised. This is what happens when you inherit another family. Just wait till yours get married. Don't mind as I love christmas and wouldn't leave any of them out. I used to have everyone at my house but since grandkids have got older Ds and Dil have done it. It is such a shame to take them away from their presents. So tradition carries on from my house to theirs but I still do all the little extras as they do not have the time. DSis does the christmas cake which by the time she is finished with it you would be over the driving limit but it tatses fab. Kids don't get it they have a chocolate brownie thing which oozes choc from the middle. She makes that as well. Was thinking of getting an Amazon Echo for ds and dil for a pressie so will have to venture over to techy board and see how they rate it. So far it seems good from which I have read. Will also get them a personal something. GK's so far have no clue what to get them apart from the usual amazon card I stick in as an extra. Do that at birthday time as well. Sis is not getting radio I won It is mine all mine lol but she mentioned the guage she uses when diving is needing upgraded. (she does this as a hobby) so will have a look in to how much these things cost. Cousin gave me a quick call. Girl from Estee Lauder counter has some gift boxes that were supposed to be a promotional freebie that have now been withdrawn. Do I want any of them. Supposed to be given to staff now. But DC will bring me up a few if I want them. So have said yes please. Who would turn them down. So she is getting them and passing them on to me. There is lip gloss nail polish and perfume in them. wooohooo.
