Morning all. Nice bright morning although it is freezing. Made the mistake of nipping out just after 7am in pj's to bring bin in. Took me about twenty minutes a hot cuppa and back against the radiator to heat up again. FF don't know anyone who buys their dog or cat christmas cards. Although hold my hand up to buying presents for our dogs through the years. Hope everyone is well.

    Good Morning,

Cold here as well FF and rose but sun out.
    Keeping the Sunday dog theme!

Hoping to get a decent walk this morning. Didn't manage too far yesterday as went to visit DD when we went shopping and then she came up for dinner. She was practising her blood pressure technique on us. Her bf is fed up of her taking his. Was pretty chuffed with mine as had been a bit worried as Dh's had gone up and we live the same lifestyle.
DH has lost about 4lbs since we started to eat more healthily and I haven't lost anything!
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Well done to your DH with weight loss. Had a walk down to Asda as needed a couple of things. (it is only 10 min walk) Was nice and warm on way down as sun was shining all the way. On way back home it was freezing as sun decided to hide. Got back indoors and out it came again lol. Neighbour is heading of to Garden Centre and was asking if I wanted anything. Told her I was ok as since I have had DS's car have managed to stock up. Hope you enjoy your walk shiels but wrap up well.

    Hi everyone!

Sunny here but fairly chilly. Brrrrr! I've got many layers
of clothing on at the mo! :p

Well done to your DH on his weight loss sheils. :T

I thought the X Factor was carp too last night fire**fly.

Did I hear correctly that Phoney G will be bringing out
    an album!? _pale_

Well, didn't reckon on any of them. Either last week or
week before I flicked over to ITV2 to see if the Xtra Factor
Live was any good .... they were having a discussion
about Phoney and Prof Green was the only person to say
what we're all thinking ... that she's totally carp!

I bet she'll end up in the last 3, heaven help us all if she
wins - think all the judges have lost their marbles!
    :rotfl::rotfl:

Happy doggy birthday Jasper! _party_ :T :dance:

I've also seen those xmas cards fire**fly for your pets!
Hahaha - I still buy little pressies for furry family members
but cards would be a big no no! :rotfl::rotfl:

Have a lovely relaxing day all, take care. :)

hope you've got warmed up now rose,
suns gone in here now & have had to put lights on as
    getting dark already,

well done to DH on weight loss sheils,
I remember reading something ages ago that men do
lose weight quicker than women so had a quick google
    as to why,
according to a few sites it's because men have
    more muscle!
    here's one I found..
    http://www.prevention.com/weight-loss/5-reasons-men-lose-weight-faster-than-women
so it's easier for men as usual

Thanks everyone re DH's weight loss but he isn't bothered as according to his Dr he isn't overweight - just at the high end of the scale for his height ;)
It is his BP he needs to lower so it can't do any harm to lose a few pounds.
Thanks for link FF. I had heard something about it before.

I had my scarf and gloves on when I went out rose and walked really fast as the wind was really chilly.

X-factor sounds really weird Alfie - never watched it but thought people got voted off/on.

Good evening all. Didn't get muck done yesterday evening as Lottie was shaking all the time so had to wrap her tightly in fleece and sit with her. Same when we went to bed, she was a pit of a pain all night and wouldn't even eat our drink. All's fine with her today though thank God.

DD and family rang and asked did we want to go to Carvery for a late lunch so just got back. Ate too puch though so will have to live on veg until weigh in LOL.

Well done on your DH's weight loss Sheils and hope his blood pressure comes down soon.

    Hope you are all OK.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Sylvia feel so sorry for animals when fireworks are going off. Good lottie has recovered. Love a carvery not had one for ages. Might arrange to go out for one for when son gets home some time near the end of the month. You'll soon get back on track with diet as you have been really good so far. Nothing wrong with a treat now and then. Shiels glad you enjoyed your walk as it was rather cold. FF don't watch xfactor but sounds by what I am reading from you and others that do it is turning in to a bit of a farce.

Just turned tv over and Robbie Williams is singing. Like the song but what on earth is that butterfly suit about.
