indie take care and have a good day. Bit chilly here as well but has been most of the week. Do not when it comes to dentists or doctors differentiate between them. No matter if they are men or women or other nationalities. Just have to find one that suits you and is well trained.

The NHS ones here only stay a year or so and then they are off and people get another young new start indie. Our dentist does all the difficult root canal work etc in the area and loves his job! DH refuses to leave him so I stay too as money comes out of joint account ;)

Shiels I live in central Scotland and understand. I have some privelage thay set up surgerys here and stay. If mine only stayed a year or so I would be annoyed. Also have the Dental Hospital just 30 mins away. We have to find what we are prepared to live with. would love to say ff get your crown done especially if it is a front tooth because to get a plate the dentist will have to pull some of your good back teeth to keep it in place if it is your top jaw. In your bottom jaw you just have to put up with the space

Very interesting about different dental care. Over the years I had such bad dental care from a child I developed a terrible phobia. Years ago I found a local dentist who was great with me but he became private at some stage so expensive. Last month we had letter to say he is taking early retirement to move near his parents. He has recommended someone who worked with him but I'm not sure will have to try.

Agree with you Rose about children and general health.

Rose great you won radio and its so good. Pleased it came quickly. Prompted me to chase up the Pressure Cooker and the watch wins again. Love it when prizes just turn up or come very soon.

FireFky thanks for the link. My eyes didn't like the long lists but enlarging it is fine and certainly a bit quicker.

Sheils we have been to Blackpool to see the lights but awhile ago I watch a programme whith the main electrician for the lights showing how they had changed all the light bulbs. It was very interesting.

Indie Enjoy your chillout before work. Well done on deli win hope son enjoyed. I too went in for that.

Well ironing calls, still catching up with washing here.

Hope everyone has a good and lucky weekend.

    Good morning everyone!

Hope you're all ok today. :)

Still on the subject of teeth :p ...... I really dislike the
'fashionably' craze of having over the top, extremely
large, whiter than white molars!

I won't mention any of the erm 'celebs' :p who have had
the work carried out but I think you'll all know who
    I mean! :eek::eek:

^^^ This just about sums it up but teeth need to be
    much larger.

Can't help but wonder what they'll look like as they age!

Forgot to say our dentist is from Liverpool and used to run the practice in Widnes where DH went as a child (years later of course)
DH and him chatter away in their old dialects much to amusement of the staff!

  • Hi everyone,

glad there has been some good wins lately - none here but I have been doing hardly any comps so cant complain:)

Glad you enjoyed your trip to blackpool sheils the weather has been really good to us and today is the first day of rain for what seems like weeks we've had beautiful sunshine.

we found out we are having a baby boy (well not us! - but our first grandson 7th march!) when son and gf went for their scan:j cant wait!!

sick off the fireworks already around here as our dog is a bag of nerves panting and shaking all the time and am dreading tomorrow when it will be non stop:angry: its the random really loud banging ones at silly o'clock (2am) what's the point of that?

hope everyone has a good weekend:j

    catch up soon
