I agree with you Alfie and fire**fly about the XFactor ....think the judges were 'nissed as a pewt' when they chose bratavio and honey g to go through! Glad them lads went out last night! :D

Loved your Monday face pic you put on FB Sylvia! :D

Have a good break Sheils and glad you had a good weekend with DS :)

I've had a bit of an eventful weekend. DD2 took ill with suspected appendicitis on Friday so was in A&E. She was rolling in agony. After a few hours things settled and the bloods came back ok so luckily they didn't remove them but said it could flare up again. I took her back to school today though!

This clown craze is getting out of hand. There's been loads around our way with knives etc. Even chasing little kids! My DD2 is terrified of clowns to start with. If I see one they'll have perfume sprayed in their eyes and a kick where it hurts!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    bj13.gif Good afternoon everyone!

    Hope you're all ok. :)

It's another beautiful day here, sunny but a tad
    chilly. smileys-sunbathing-578268.gif

:j Very well done on your wins indie! :j :D :T

So sorry to hear of your DD2 wingo. Very pleased
she's ok at the mo. I talk from experience that it's
really very painful - I had appendicitis years ago (can
recall the pain as if it was yesterday!). Unfortunately
my appendix then ruptured! I became very poorly but
thanks to the wonderful care and attention of the
hospital staff and surgeon, I am still here! :p :T :j

The appendix serves no use to man nor beast. :p

I also hate the 'clown craze' - it's all getting terribly
out of hand. I agree wingo ...... couldn't possibly say
what I would do to the blighters if they ever crossed
my path ...... 'cept they wouldn't find it a very pleasant
    experience! :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have a lovely and lucky day all, take care - I'll catch
    up later. :)

Wingo I remeber when sister had appendicitis. She was six I was seven. Teacher sent for me to take her home as she was being sick and had tummy pains. Got her to the school gates and she collapsed. Luckily our doctor was at the bottom of the street. So ran and got him. He examined her then ran in to school to phone an ambulance. He got me and her to hospital then contacted my mum who was at work in another hospital. Once we knew she had op and was ok we went home. Next day mum contacted doc and she and him went in to the school and gave the headmaster whatfor. Afterwards a meeting with all teachers resulted in the fact that no child had to be put in the care of another child. A nurse was employed part time and childs doctor had to be contacted if parent could not be.

Hi all. Just been trying to catchi up. We came home yesterday. After staying with DS and GKs we have been on holiday to Madeira. Had a great holiday in the sun and home with no delays this time.

It's definitely much colder now. We have had heating on and more clothes.

Just been reading postings about appendicitis. Pleased your daughter was ok Wingo but you need to keep an eye on her. Alfie you were certainly very fortunate as was Rose's sister. A friend's niece had a similar incident to you last year Alfie. She was 12 and thankfully she survived the peritonitis. I had mine out at aged about 20.

FireFly hope you are much better and doing everyday things has improved for you.

Indie hope you had s good day off. I've put washing out here in the bit of sun. Just taking a break from some ironing.

Sylvia admire you for joining SW. We must look st our diet and try to loose some weight. Need to do some walking like Sheils.

Sheils hope you have been enjoying your breaks.

April hope you are ok. Did you start a course?

When we were away we had new neighbours. Another young couple, she's expecting a first baby anytime.
