The comp finished in July but it says they are giving away 1000 so takes time.

DD2 makes smoothies for hers so it will be heading her way when we see them.

Firefly sounds as though you are making great progress. Just take it slowly.

Well I just remembered task for today is to get eyes tested for new glasses. I broke good pair sitting in them over a week ago. So I'm using a Boots pair now. I needed a new prescription anyway.

Hi everyone,

Been trying to keep up with all the news. Well done to all the winners and glad you are making progress FF.
Had a lovely holiday but when we got back today our road was being dug up and the electricity was off. It had been off since 5am and didn't come back on until about 14.30 I think. Was really annoying to say the least!
Trying to get some things caught up now. DS3 is away to Gleneagles so house is pretty quiet.
Still no wins for me.

Welcome back Sheils, hope you've had a great time. That's a shame about them digging your road up. That's all you see nowadays unfortunately. They still haven't finished our road off from about yr & half now. My internet keeps lagging for some reason.

That was strange with the spider indie! Far too many for my liking lately! I came home to 3 wasps in bathroom and thought DH must have had bathroom window open, when I asked he seems to think there's a wasp nest somewhere! _pale_

Fans at the ready Alfie for tomorrow's heatwave! Be careful in the garden!
I'm in soft play with the kids in school but strangely enough it's cooler than outside!

I haven't heard anything on the injured baby, hope all is well.
DD started college today and got lost in there! She still enjoyed it though and she's going to metro centre on a trip this week with them I feel relieved she's out of that school and starting to feel independent in herself.

Not expecting sun tomorrow even although it has been warm here last two days. It is supposed to be warm all week here. Also had spiders here. Hate them but somehow they seem to creep in. Got jennys and daddys because windows are open. Probably how spiders got in.
