I read that's it's going to be a scorcher next week too leanfun. Be careful if you're in the garden fire**fly & Alfie! Well done on the simple wipes too
Indie, it sounds like your sons gf has settled in wellthat's lovely of her to help out with baking. My son made some rice crispie cakes and I've been pinching a few!
You'll be pleased to know it's still clammy this way Sheils so it should be warmish when you land in Newcastle too
Hope you enjoyed your day out in Huddersfield Sylvia and hope you got some bargains!
I really can't cope with all these dragon flies, daddy long legs and spiders fire**fly/AlfieI don't know how you manage in the garden every day! Plus today a massive butterfly flew past me and I almost swallowed it!
Forgot to mention, I was at mams yesterday when we saw a car awkwardly parked where it shouldn't. Then we saw a girl carrying a baby with blood all over babies face and ambulance and police came. We don't know exactly what happened but some older kids who witnessed it said she was driving fast round roundabout and baby fell out of car with car seat. The ambulance took baby with siren and blue light so I hope he/she's ok. I hate it when there's kids involved.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
That sounds awful Wingo, the baby and car seat falling out of the car, wonder if it wasnt strapped in correctly. Hope they are OK.
That would be good if we have some nice weather next week. Been nice and warm her most of the day but drops colder in the evenings. Got heating on at the moment.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hope the baby is ok Wingo. That sounds terrible.
It's still quite warm here Sylvia. No heating needed here.0 -

:hello: Good morning everyone!
Phew, it was a warm one yesterday and set to get
even warmer through this week!
Me thinks I will have to have a trusty fan by my
side!
Well done indie sticking to your guns re work. :T How
lovely of your son's girlfriend baking a cake for later.
Sounds as if she has settled in brilliantly.
Great to see you too received the simple wipes leanfun. :j
I think I'll be taking it very easy if the forecasters are
correct re scorching weather conditions looming.
Crikes wingo, that accident near your mams was
horrendous! I do hope the baby is not badly
hurt. _pale_ It's terribly upsetting witnessing any sort
of accident, particularly when children are involved.
The rice crispie cakes sound scrumptious - think I'd
have pinched a few too.
rose - sounds as if you had a busy day yesterday with
your family - hope you all had a brilliant time. :T
((Hugs)) to all who needs them - and especially for
our lovely fire**fly. :A
Well, I'd better get cracking starting with coffee and
comps.
Have a lovely and lucky day all, take care and I'll
catch up later.

Morning, cloudy here at the moment but warm still. I had a strange thing happen last night. Let the dog out and a spider run across the floor and out the back door, down the steps and out into the garden..lol. It was a garden one and i know they are looking for mates so maybe it was on a promise..lol,Be great if they all run out.
I have this morning off, so getting some comps done before i have to go in. Hope everyone has a lucky day.0 -

Sunny here too. I woke early as usual but managed to go back to sleep. Woke up to drilling outside. Apparently new smart water metres are being installed.
Then knock on door and a surprise delivery from Apro smoothie

The comp finished in July but it says they are giving away 1000 so takes time.
DD2 makes smoothies for hers so it will be heading her way when we see them.
Firefly sounds as though you are making great progress. Just take it slowly.
Well I just remembered task for today is to get eyes tested for new glasses. I broke good pair sitting in them over a week ago. So I'm using a Boots pair now. I needed a new prescription anyway.
Hope everyone has a great week, enjoy the sunshine and be lucky.0 -
Well done, nice surprise to start the week off.0
