Me thinks it's going to be another torturous day of
heat!

It's a mix of sun and clouds at the mo but still
very muggy.

Will most definitely have one of these on the
go!

Luckily we had rain through the night so
everything in the garden is coming up roses (or
weeds! :whistle:) :rotfl::rotfl:

wingo - don't get me started on dragonflies! I
think they are the most beautiful of creatures



and I do have them visiting my garden but
if they start to fly towards me I tend to do a
runner!

I can recall years ago on a family vacation to
America - we visited Busch Gardens for the day
- it was lovely - until we saw how many dragonflies
there were flying about - bloomin' hundreds - we
had to run through the critters at one point to get
beyond them!

So pleased your DD had a wonderful birthday. :T

cloudy here this morning & a good breeze coming
through the windows not been out but can see that
the ladies are making sure birds/etc are all fed
& watered :dance:

amazes me how they always seem to grow back much quicker
than any other plant lol :eek:

Afternoon
It's raining here at the moment. It was raining when i went to work, stopped then started again not long ago when i got in from work.Glad the ladies are taking care of the birds ff and nice you can see it done as it puts your mind at rest. I had a small win on Twitter a Pokermon go book from Maximum Pop so my son will find it useful as like many people they seem to have gone pokermon go mad. Just going to drop son at work then get some shopping from Tesco..the fridge is bare..lol

Hi everyone, been mia since the New Year but having another go at comping! Just back from the annual 4 month sojourn in Crete.

Only taken me a couple of days to go through the board, thought it would be longer.

Is it my imagination but are there fewer TW & FB comps now or am I just getting better at ignoring them????

Evening all! It's still quite muggy outside for this time of yr.
I don't like it when dragonflies land on you! It says in local paper we are heading for a plague of thousands of them and spiders as big as mice apparently! :eek: there was a huge one in the bath yesterday but I got it outside with my spider catcher. It only just fitted in it! I'll send them all your way Alfie!

Well done on your Twitter win indie :j My fridge is bare too, DH was meant to get groceries at tesco but God knows what he got to eat as there's nothing there! Luckily I've got a farmfoods round the corner!

I've been to take DD out with her 2 friends and they have had ice cream and fizzy drinks and are so hyper! Taking them home now for some peace!

Hi everyone. Just been catching up we had no internet during the week except calling into a cafe and that was patchy.

FireFly so sorry to read what happened to you. What a shock for you and DH. Hope you are really on the mend and pain is better. Great you are taking it easy and have some help.

Wingo great your DD had a good birthday and you are back on Internet.

We have been down near the coast. DS and children have moved to a friends holiday bungalow. We have settled them in and GS has started school in the neighbouring town and has loved it. Unfortunately there are no reception places in the area for GD, so we have to see what happens there. We came home this evening really tired. It was very hot and sunny there no rain at all.
