Very muggy here too Indie. Think it is trying to stay Summer but Autumn is clawing at it. Hay ho.

I've been on the board most of today. I tend to work backwards from page ?? to try to get to page one. I'm back at uni in a couple of weeks and I'm determined to get to p20. Only another 100 pages to go then!

had red cross here again this morning so been having to
sort stuff out with them & have to walk with
a walking cane,
so it's taking me ages to get around &
then have to take time to slowly do things,
the other ladies in the complex are looking after the birds
& SIL is popping in & out here with me so
hopefully with the painkillers & aids it'll be just a
couple of days before
getting hopefully back to some type of normality,
anyways, enough about my probs & on the plus side
I've had a wem from beautybible ..:j:j

It's a scorcher here too with little air - some big clouds
gathering but doubt they'll amount to much.

sorry been missing since monday morning! did a
realy silly thing early monday & moved
the tub of bird food,
next thing i knew i was out for the count & in A&E,
had to have a MRI scan & was admitted to a ward
as couldn't move from waist down,
pain was unbelieveable!!
so to cut a long story short i've been stuck in
hospital for the past couple of days,
anyways, physio docs said it was ok to let me home this evening armed with plenty of painkillers & red cross have had to bring me a couple mobility aids for the home,
so here i am back home & hoping to catch up with all,
well done to any winners while I've not been here & hopefully will get caught up & read all soon x

you had us all fairly worried when you went awol from
Monday! :eek::eek: Not like you at all.

On a more serious note please take things easy -
sounds as if you have got some wonderful peeps etc
helping, you will be back feeding the squidgies, birdies and
hedgehogs etc before you know it :T :dance:

Aw DD said thank you for the lovely birthday wishes :kisses3: she's had a good day I asked DH to get some bday balloons for her yesterday and he went out and bought for age 5 without looking at them! She's eleven!

Anyway, got my internet back on now thankfully so the kids can go back to their 'media studies' or whatever they call it these days! Honestly kids today just take things for granted!

Hope you're getting on well with this heat Alfie! It's really humid on a night too. Does anyone else have a plague of dragon flies too? They are all over our school and the kids keep trying to eat them! :eek:
