The point we are trying to make is that one rule should apply to both posts on the main board and in the CCC AND we are NOT trying to make it more difficult for members to post up comps!!!!! We merely want 'freedom of speech' in the CCC as long as no one is deliberately setting out to cause harm to individuals, ie no witch hunting, naming names, bullying or nasty comments etc! With regard to the memos threads, these were just light banter where members were chatting about funny sob stories they had seen on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The authors of such stories were never quoted and no members appeared to post any nasty or harmful comments. It was just somewhere to have a chat and a giggle.

Oh and can I just state that Mansey and myself do not wish to receive private messages from members asking us to report 'certain' members posts on the main board!!! Both Mansey and myself have never reported any comp posts on the main board in the past and we certainly don't intend to start now, even if they are breaking the c&p rules!!!! So if certain individuals have a vendetta against other individuals using these forums then don't ask Mansey or I to get involved! Thank you! I have switched off my PMs.

If you don't report the posts how can you expect the Forum Team to take action ?

I have never reported these posts in the past because I never knew the rule existed. If you feel so strongly then you go down every comp on the main board and report them yourself! It will take you a while though as 99% posted must be breaking that one rule!

I don't "feel so strongly",
I was pointing out the fact that if you don't report then you can't expect the Forum team to take action.

M ? , I am not paranoid - I'm just not bothered anymore. I know the rules now so I am going to carry on comping and abide by the rules. I don't hold grudges against anybody on here and I have no intention of reporting any members for c&p'ing on the main board either. Happy comping!

They aren't breaking a rule though. It said not to copy and paste the whole page, excerpts are ok.

I won't do it, because I couldn't care less tbh. But instead of going round in circles why doesn't someone affected just ask them for the reason it was removed?

a) because it's the simple answer?
b) because it's difficult to be over-dramatic by simply asking forum team as it doesn't make for a 'all against me' reason to start a thread?
c) because someone affected might not want to be told what they did wrong in case it's not what they thought it was?
d) all of the above?

I'm saying this in a very formal and polite fasion. For a 'newbie' you certainly spend an awful lot of time clueing up on rules as opposed to actually entering competitions. Just a pleasant observation.
