No, no videos or stuff.
I've done most of what everyone suggested and moved the space on the C drive from miserly storage rate (which was in red) to 31GB now so the machine is much faster and back to almost being a spring chicken again!
MANY thanks to everyone who helped with suggestions and advice. I'm giving it a rest for today and will have another look later on this week at the 8.6GB stuff (can't remember if they were files or directories - but certainly not documents or such like).
