i have a great set up to get f1 for almost free for thanks to european legislation, required satilite dish pointed at i think astra one , cheap receiver box that is that can be programmed to receive the german satillite. and then a laptop to receive bbc radio 5 live coverage, the tv is german rtl that shows all the f1 races. not really free but a one off cost , i have had this set up since f1 went to sky the feed is hd too.

The OP may be able to view a few more early races on Germany RTL, but it's still a truncated service compared to the Pay-To-View offering from Sky.
In addition, the following link reveals that the HD feed from RTL will be encrypted.

Sounds like a right faff for a load of cars that look the same going round in circles not overtaking each other.0

indeed some faffing is required but only the set up which is once.
well of course channel 4 only show 10 live races, and i thought idea of this site was "money saving" hence the name "money saving expert" not "prepared to pay"0 -

Oh definitely!
Just intrigued as to how much it would cost and how that compares to paying for the odd race on NowTV if you simply can't wait until later in the day for the C4 'highlights'Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
