    What's in the potion?

Is it Picolax or similar, or something more out-of-a-cauldron?

It's not Picolax, it's Gastrographin. It smells of caraway/aniseed, I'm taking it via a straw since that way can glug it down without tasting. Taken about 2/3 of it and feel sick. I gather it's not as difficult to cope with as Picolax, though has some of the same effect. :(

The omelette was absolutely foul, so was feeling sick even before starting the pint of potion.
I see cheese & potato pie in there :)
    And eggs & soldiers :)

I always eat white bread/rice, hate the texture of brown.

Yes, I thought cheese and potato pie too, but had that yesterday and it really didn't agree with me - you really need some onions in it too, and they're Not Allowed. So far only thing that's going down OK is Marmite on toast and OH's home made quince jelly on toast. All the eggy stuff is just turning my stomach. :(

Am allowed chocolate so long as it doesn't have fruit or nut bits in it. But we haven't got any as I don't eat it usually.

I did, a little bit ... I used to press "record" when the programme came on as it was all a bit beyond me :)

Not used one for .... hmm .... er ... about 20 years :)
Post up the model number of your tv - it may be it can record on to a usb stick costing a fiver.

Apparently the local sub station has a fault and we are being supplied by a generator. That would explain blips in power and the wifi boosters not working properly. Grrr!

Seriously, though, what is the legal view of that? I mean, some forms of inheritance might go to the older child. Eg a title, heirdom to the throne etc.

Which is legally the older child? The one who emerged first, or the one with the earlier time on the certificate?

I'd hate to be that judge!

The one that came out first is older. If the doctors/midwives have any sense at all, they will have entered the times as something like
    Twin A born 2:55 BST
    Twin B born 2:05 GMT
...although obviously with the abbreviations appropriate to the time zone. Birth certificates don't have times of birth on them anyway, AFAIK.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Birth certificates for twins do have the time of birth on them; singletons' ones don't.

Thanks for the birthday message yesterday from the NP that sent it, I was deliberately trying to keep it quiet as I'm so busy this week I'm trying to stay under the radar :)

Currently dealing with Feb/Mar contracts, and hope to have started with April by the end of the next week (subject to confirming slots etc). Expansion plans are scaled back a little from before, as due to bank issues I'm having to allocate what money I have on a priority basis, so once I've worked out the what/when/who/why, I should be back as a full time NP :D

See you guys later, and I will catch up tonight, I promise!

Didn't know that. Thanks for explaining. I'd still guess that even for twins that are born the same side of the hour going back, if they're recording a time between 2am and 3am they probably have to record which kind of time it is.

You're being very brave, Pastures. I'm not sure I could bear to be in the house with all that going on next door.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
