I don't mind if you reply on here, but only if you're happy to.
Or you don't have to reply at all, I won't mind! :A(I just lurve spiders!)

I did reply ... by posting to let you know I'd read it.
That means I am aware now of what you wrote.... and so now I am informed.
Thank you.
I am trying to do less "replying" in life in general these days, since I've discovered that whatever I say is often twisted by somebody (on forums) reading what I wrote and then things go off at tangents and end up putting words in my mouth I never said .... iyswim. So now I go down the "least said, soonest not tied in knots" route.0 -

If there ever was a time you did want to - you could always type what you want in Notepad first, then copy & paste it into the box.0 -

I hate feeling pressurised into answering an unexpected question - where I fear that what I type will be misconstrued, resulting in another PM that goes off at a tangent, because it often does..... kind people trying to "fix" one thing, when there's a much bigger picture and they've just got one piece of it.
I hate any form of "answering on demand" situation.... I have to receive information, then mull and think ... that's why forums are best for me as I can walk away entirely ... and feel no "pressure" that somebody's "waiting for an answer".
Not sure I said the above right as I am rubbish at explaining what I meanYou're all catching me on the hop now, which is the time when I perform least well in communicating

Still no heating on here, I'm trying to hold out until November. Actually, I don't need the heating on yet, my bedroom is currently 18 degrees and that is with the window open. When it is consistantly 16 or 17 with the window shut, then that is the time to adjust the thermostat to have it come on (currently set to come on at 12 degrees to make sure it doesn't click on).
Personal statement completed and sent to youngest's PPT for his views/amendments.
Oooh further news I had forgotten to pass on, James has been madly applying for jobs as he is now no longer an SR, he has had a couple of interviews and secured part time employment which fits in with his studies! Had his induction yesterday and first proper shift is Wednesday evening. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Rock n roll, dude!:D Actually, I don't mind Asti......in small quantities. Do I have to leave the NP thread now, can we all hae a small faux pas from time to time?ukmaggie45 wrote: »Forgotten what (if anything) I told you about my PIP claim.
My Motability car goes back on 1st November.I've sent my Mandatory Reconsideration letter in, but don't think it'll make any difference, so will prob have a Tribunal to look forward to soon.
So we've come for a final trip in my comfy car before it goes back.View from deck on arrival by Maggie, on Flickr

Doing very badly health wise since we got back from London, have to go for colonography - at least I think that's what it's called.
But on our way back from London we did see a great sight in the car park at Norton Keynes on the M6 Toll Road that really gave us a smile!Truck with an elephant model on it by Maggie, on Flickr
Love the photo across the bay. Sorry to hear you are not so well and good luck with colonography or whatever it is.PasturesNew wrote: »I've read it. I won't reply by PM as I hate doing that ... little box to reply/type in is so small it's like painting the hallway through the letterbox
That's exactly how I feel, the analogy made me smile.
New dog arrived and it's:smileyhea all round. Well maybe not instant love from the other dogs, she's large and bouncy, with paws the size of dinnerplates. There's no malice, she has no concept of relative size. She's 16 weeks, called Lola as in the film, Run Lola, Run. Of course, everyone else thinks of Barry....
There's another pic on the pet board.0 -
The mutt is going to stay with a dog sitter who lives on an extremely rough estate. This one:-
