Good to see you lir. I hope that you, fir and the furries are all well. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

My beloved dog dog died this year. She got a random idiopathic illness and we spent some time at a vet school I used to know well and my vets were great, and we got some extra, very careful time with her. Life will never be the same, but it goes on.
We have a new, rehomed, young dog, who is very funny, much sweeter in personality and taking care of the terrier just by existing.0 -
Did I mention that I went to the Electromagnetic Field camp this year, which was really fun and highly recommended?
This was the first time that I have been camping for nearly 50 years. If you take enough gear, camping is just like being at home, only far less comfortable. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I find that you forget how miserable the previous night's sleep was as the day progresses. Then you remember when you climb back into the sleeping bag.
Still awake. Would prefer to be camping. I'm utterly at a loss as to what I'm supposed to do. I'm tired now.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Try to refrain from strangling your other half, who lies blissfully snoring next to you and then will claim the next morning that he hardly slept a wink.0 -

So sorry to hear that lir. Your dogs were lovely. Glad to hear you have a new addition too. I'm a sucker for a dog with a sweet disposition. Sounds like they are a great complement to the energetic ball of fur and fun that is the kiwi. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Thanks for the PM, CK
Lovely to see you dropping by lir, we do miss you. I'm so sorry to hear about dog dog, it must feel strange without her. New dog sounds a sweetieI hope pink whistley and mauve squeaker are okay. We lost our cat (or rather, the cat that decided to move in with us) a few months ago, and we've had a number of cats over the years but haven't missed even the most beloved of those as much as I miss this one. I still keep looking out for him waiting for us on the recycling box when we get home from anywhere
The neighbours miss him too as he used to go in and visit them. Oh well.
